      LEILANI

Leilani paced around the sand, then same dunes he last saw Peony. Firefly stood off to side, awkward. It had been two nights since she suddenly disappeared and  NO ONE seemed to NOTICE or CARE about her well being. The first night Leilani thought she had decided to go home early and had just forgotten to say goodbye to him, though that seem highly unlikely since, knowing Peony, she always made sure herself to sneak in his room in the mornings just to be the first to tell him "good morning!"

"I'm sure she's fine." Starfruit said blankly, laying across a different rock ledge, getting the full, afternoon sun. Zaffre had already left, having been "bored out of his brains." Firefly had just seemed flustered, seeing Leilani this concerned over her disappearance, and Starfruit had just came along to have someone at least to talk to. It all, as well, flustered Leilani.

Leilani still remembered when they had first met, running into each other while playing a game of hide and seek. "Youch, you run supers fast." Commented Leilani, studying her up and down, her gorgeous shades of purple and pink that faded into one another, her blends of pale teal and pastel yellow. The way she looked at him felt like she knew him for years. He looked right back into her amber colored eyes, wondering what she was thinking. "And yous isn't hiding!" She squealed, ducking into a bush, instantly fading into the environment. Being only less then one years old, he impulsively he slid in under the same bush and shifted to the same muddy colors, and bright greens. Only to later be the last found.

Leilani sat down, his front talons sinking into the wet sand, only to be swallowed by the small waves that washed onto shore. He buried his face into his talons, disappointment and worry, washing over him as well, swallowing him whole.

"Leilani, it's going to be fine." Said Firefly, a gentle smile spread across her face, her spectacles slightly lower then usual. strange.

"I hope." He whispered shakily.

PEONY

For the... How long? Peony had no idea how long she had been down here, but it felt like forever, (Even though she knew she hadn't been down here forever.) So far she had been trying to convince herself she would be okay, that her friends would save her. But she also knew they sorta... Had to save her.

Or else their secrets go loose.
