chapter 4: see you again

A few days later

Link pov

I was in my dragon form and I was actually trying to find a worker drone in a destroyed house but nothing. of course. I just walk around since I have nothing else to do. I enter a room and look around, no worker drone but caught my attention, a Manga! I pick it up, and it's reminded me at this worker drone...Uzi? Yeah! That's her name. *sigh* I wish I could see her again. But it will never happe-

A noise was heard, like something was knocked over.

I turned my gaze to the hallway (the door was open) and saw something moving, I quickly ran over and saw something close the door. Haha stupid worker drone if you think I didn't see. I walk over to the door, opened it and there it was, Looking at me with a choked and terrified look on it's face.

WD: "Please...I'll do anything..."

Awww it begs for mercy, how cute. I jump at it and tear it apart.

Uzi pov

Since last time i wasn't able to get what I needed, I have to go back...great. And i have to bring my brother this time...GREAT!!! 

Few minutes later

 The same trick as last time worked, that's actually surprising...anyway I walk across the corpses and went to the same place as before

- "Where is it? Come on I saw it last time."

Vev: "saw what?"

- "The power core."

After a while I found, I picked it up  but before i could anything, Vev pulled me behind a pile of corpses and saw a Murder Drone come and land onto the landing pod. it had a worker drone head in its claws, it drank the oil inside and crush it. Maybe it's link?

I grab a small piece of glass and look at it, me and Vev shift our gaze onto the power core but when I looked at the Murder Drone again, it clearly saw us...I quickly get up and charged my gun and my brother ready's a shovel...wait WHAT?! Where did he get a shovel oh never mind, but before i could ask him the Murder Drone crashes on the floor making us lose our balance, I get a closer look at it. Yep definitely not Link.

 Meanwhile//Link pov

That was quick. I should probably go back but, before I have to make sure no one was there...you know what? I'm lazy let's just say there's nobody left here. I transform into my drone form and I grab the worker head for N in case he hadn't found anything, J or V would NEVER share with him even when he overheats. Anyways I exit the place and fly off. 

A few moments later

I land in the snow next to the landing pod, I look around but nobody was here, then 3 voices was heard...it was N and Uzi as well as...someone else? I walk where the voices were and saw N with...UZI and someone else i do not recognize?! How the fuck did she not died? Who is the other Worker Drone with her? Why is N to them? What's happening?!

N: "Hey let me give you the tour outside the corpse wall thingies."

- "Uhhh."

I saw Uzi froze when she heard my voice, she slowly turned around and sighed in relief when she saw me. The other Worker Drone tried to throw a shovel at me but Uzi stopped him. N just turned to me and waved at me.

N: "Oh Link you're just in time!! I want you to meet Uzi and Vev! they're new members of our squad!"

I look at them with confusion.

- "New members? Ooookay?" I said still confused on why is she still alive.

N: "I know she's short but she's totally a disassembly Drone, by the way what you got there Link?" He said pointing at the Worker Drone head. When Uzi heard the word 'short' she quickly glares at N. It made me chuckle a little before answering N's question. 

- "Oh right I kinda forgot, here." I said throwing the head at him, he catches it and drinks the inside.

N: "Thanks Link, you're the best!"

- "Hey uhhh N can I borrow Uzi and...Vev for a sec? I kinda need to...explain to them how things work around here." I lied.

N: "Sure! Uzi, Vev you can go, I promise Link is not mean." He said pointing at me.

Uzi just got with Vev and followed me outside. I turn to Uzi and grab her shoulders, shaking her a bit.

- "What was that?!" I yelled.

Uzi: "Huh? What was what? She didn't know what I was talking about.

Vev: "Sis do you know this drone?" 

Uzi: "Yeah, I met a few days ago."

- "Okay, but how are both of you still alive?!" I yell again but not as loud as i first time so N couldn't hear me.

Uzi: "Ohhh that. Yeah well...I kindaaaa shothimwithmyrailgun." She said the last part fast, but I clearly understood that.

- "You, did, WHAT?!"

Uzi: "Shot him wi-"

- "Yeah I get that but why?!" I didn't let her finish her sentence. She looked at me like I ask a dumb question.

_ "What?"

Uzi: "You just asked me why I shot him."

- "Yeah, so-oooooookay." I said realizing if she didn't shoot him they would have been dead. I just hope he's okay, so that's why he thought Uzi and Vev were disassembly drones. I have no idea how to fix him...maybe J does? Hopefully.

Uzi: "Yeah. Anyways how are you?"

Vev: "Sis why are you talking to this drone?"

Uzi: "Because i know him as a friend."

- "Oh I'm fine-don't change the subject! By the way why are both of you here in the first place?" I said crossing my arms.

Uzi: "We needed th-"

N: "Hey! Are you done? Can I join the conversation??" N said, he was kinda left alone.

- "Uh yeah sure! We're coming N!"

I turned to glare at Uzi and Vev.

- "This conversation isn't over." I said still glaring at them.

Uzi/Vev: "Pff whatever." They said annoyed.

- "Cone on, N is alone." I drag them inside again.

After a few minutes on Uzi and Vev being their rebellious selves we heard the other coming back, I give Uzi a worried look and she understood right away, she sneaks out the landing pod dragging her brother with her when N was talking and start running away. Hope they don't die

J: "Idiots. get out here!"
