Silver pov:
Soft. Warm. Safe. The first words I thought when waking up. Big arms swallowing me in an embrace. A soft rhythmic beating coming from the chest where my head rested. Deep snoring slowly pulling me back into a dreamless sleep. Which is what has been  happening most mornings.

It has been a few days since we started out to reclaim the navigator of the Straw Hats. Everyone had their own things to do besides messing with sails or making sure the ship stayed on course. Luffy would hang out and ramble about some crazy idea about finding and saving Nami. Usopp was messing around with some random gadgets and making some weird exploding stuffs to use with his slingshot. Sanji would fish and come up with new recipes to feed us each day. Zoro would head to the hull of the ship and move boxes and barrels around. Almost as if he was lifting weights.

And me? I was trying to recall some of the spells my old master had tried to teach me when I was younger. In one of my slip pockets I had found my old notebook with some scribbles. Some looked like potions and others seemed like spells. At one point in my life I had been trained to command spells without incantations. But I only remember a few. So I would disappear to some secluded part of the ship and practice.

Each night Zoro would come find me after one of Sanji's yummy meals, pick me up and disappear to another secluded spot somewheres away rom the others. Which would evidently lead to me falling asleep curled on the swordsman's lap. While he hummed away and stroked my fur. He seemed to do a lot of thinking and meditating lately after he woke up from his fatal fight.

Then I would wake up in the morning in the swordsman's hammock. IN MY HUMAN FORM!! All snuggled and comfy. How I turned while sleeping...? I haven't figured that out yet. But I didn't always wake up refreshed and ready for another day of sailing. One day I awakened in a cold sweat, which made Zoro fuss about me all day. Something about me getting seasick or something. At first I had thought I had awoken from a bad dream. But the scary part is that I couldn't remember what the dream was about.

This particular morning, I was trying to crawl out from the tangle of limbs holding me in the hammock. But right as I thought I was about be free, the Limbs would pull me back into a tighter embrace. Why is it so hard being a human? What... that's it!

    Poof!!

I switched into my cat form and was able to easily slip out. Yes!!! Thankfully the only response from the swordsman was a low groan of discomfort. Happy that I escaped, I padded out of the room and went looking for something to satisfy my stomach cravings. Maybe Sanji is awake and has some sushi or grilled salmon.

As I pranced into the kitchen, the other guys were already there munching on something or other. At one corner of the table Usopp was polishing off a bowl of soup, while at another corner, Luffy was chowing down something that smelled like pork. Snaji was by the wash bin cleaning some of his cooking utensils.

"You look like one of those mothers with that apron." Usopp laughed after a gulp of his soup.

"At least I'm doin somethin besides eating and sleepin." Sanji retorted as he picked up a knife.

"Hey Silver!!" Luffy exclaimed through a mouthful of meat. He waved a meatless bone towards the other amounts of food on the table. "There's more if ya want."

I hopped onto one of the benches and from there I pounced lightly onto the table. Then I wove in between the plates and such, looking for something more appetizing than pork or soup. Aw! There isn't any sort of fish. Ah shucks!
