Chapter 5
Y/n- pappa me gaao ka chakkar lagake ayi
Alok nod with small smile patting your head
Alok- dhyan rakhna
You gave him reassuring smile and hop on your cycle moving the paddle you ride your cycle on road of your village
Your mind was replying the conversation you had with your father you know he is right
The path of politics will make you feel powerful it will make you feel that everything is under your hands but what you will realize late is that the other politicians are snapping out your spirit your willpower your strength without your acknowledge and when you would finally notice will be too late
You clench your hands on the handle of your cycle taking deep breath you stopped by a tree and park your cycle and sit under the tree
Leaning back against the tree you fidget on your dupatta you look around the beautiful view of the village
It's 5:30 in evening the sky turned orangish gold as the sun which was setting down behind the mountain it's ray spread across the sky the wind was blowing softly making tree branches move birds flying back to their home
You fill your lungs with the fresh and clean air which gave your racing mind a slight peace
The only sound you can hear was the sound of wind passing through trees you have always loved the nature
Beautiful calming enchanting and peaceful but it's just one side of nature there is more
You close your eyes enjoying the peaceful environment and birds chirping
But your peace didn't last long when you heard two people talking almost shouting
You sigh out in frustration and look up to see a man in his 50s arguing with a rickshaw driver
At first you ignored it but their argument didn't stopped which made you annoyed
You stand up and walk toward them the man's back was facing you
Man- 30 rupaye se ek rupaye zyada nahi dunga
He said with stern voice the driver shook his head
Driver- 50 matlab 50
Man- baat 30 ki hui thi
Driver- ye rasta kitna kharab hai do tin baar rickshaw band ho gai thi
Man- maine bola tha kya rickshaw ke naam par khatara lane ko
Driver- dekhiye budhe hai isi liye pyaar se samjha rahe hai varna-
Before he can finish his sentence the man shouted angrily making both you and the driver flinch
Man- budha hoga tere baap ka beta baal safed ho gaye hai iska matlab ye nahi ki takat nahi hai tis rupaye diye hai na chup chap le aur chalta ban
The driver gulp down and get back in his rickshaw quickly taking a sharp u-turn to leave
You look at the man who was still back facing you with amusement it wasn't everyday you see someone arguing
Besides who doesn't like drama
The man shook his head cursing the driver and pick up his lohe ki peti and turn around
You snap out of your thoughts and look at him for a moment you have seen him somewhere
The man also look at you trying to figure out what is going in your mind
Your eyes widened in realization when you finally recognized him
