charlies POV

The restaurant had a cozy, modern vibe, with dim lighting and a private section reserved just for us. As I stepped inside, I spotted Walker right away, already joking around with Dior and a few other cast members. The room buzzed with casual chatter, but I couldn't help scanning for one person in particular—Sophia.

"Charlie!" Walker shouted from across the room, waving me over. "About time, man!"

"Traffic," I said with a grin, walking over and taking a seat. I glanced around the table, but Sophia wasn't there yet.

"Grab something to eat before they devour everything," Dior joked, gesturing to the appetizers spread out on the table. I nodded, grabbing some chips and guac, my stomach knotting from a mix of excitement and nerves.

Just as I settled in, the door to our section opened. Sophia walked in, casually dressed, her hair loosely curled. There was a quiet confidence in the way she moved, but I could see that same flicker of nerves in her eyes.

She gave polite smiles to the cast as they greeted her, but when she spotted dior, me and walker, she made her way over.

"DIDI!!!" "SOPH!!" sophia and dior said at the same time as they hugged eachother.

"goshh i missed you so much." said dior.
"i missed you moree no joke" sophia softly said to dior.

sophia then turns to greet me and said "hey, thanks for sending the location!!" Sophia said, sliding into the empty seat beside me.

"Yeah, no problem," I replied, trying to act casual. "I figured LA traffic would be insane as usual."

She laughed softly, her nerves easing a bit. "Seriously, it's like a game of survival out there."

I couldn't help but smile at that. "So, what do you think of the cast so far?"

She took a breath and looked around the table. "Honestly, it feels like the first day of school. But... everyone seems pretty cool. I'm still figuring everyone out, though."

"Same," I nodded. "First impressions?"

"Of you?" she teased, raising an eyebrow.

"Of everything, but sure, let's start with me," I joked, leaning back.

She gave me a mock-serious look. "You seem... alright. But we'll see after the table read."

I smirked. "Fair enough."

Our conversation flowed easily after that. We talked about the project, acting, and how crazy it was to finally be here, working on such a big show. For a while, it felt like the rest of the room disappeared—like it was just the two of us, getting to know each other before diving into this whole new world together.

Walker, of course, couldn't resist jumping in.

"Soo You guys bonding already? Told you the chemistry was gonna be real!" he called out, grinning like the clown he was.

Sophia rolled her eyes but laughed. "Walker, you're always stirring something up."

"I live to entertain," he replied, leaning back dramatically.

We all laughed, and the mood lightened even more. For the rest of the evening, we swapped stories, cracked jokes, and by the end of the night, it felt like we were already on the same team.

Sophia leaned over toward me as the conversation around the table got louder. "This is gonna be fun, dont u think?"

"Yeah," I said, catching her eye. "I think it will be."
