The morning after Jungeun's prank, Jinsoul's café was busier than usual. Jungeun stood behind the counter, making coffee, but her mind was on the noise outside. It wasn't just the usual chatter; people seemed more excited than normal.
Jiwoo, who had been trying hard to keep a straight face all morning, finally broke down, her laughter escaping in a series of snickers. "You know, Jungeun, I think your prank might have backfired."
Jungeun shot her a puzzled look. "What do you mean?"
Jiwoo pointed to her phone, "Check out what's trending."
Jungeun glanced at the screen, and her eyes widened. Someone had posted a meme on Twitter, showing a picture of The Brew Crew's chalkboard menu with the caption, "Who's brave enough to try this? 😂 @TheBrewCrew", They had tagged The Brew Crew's account, and the post was quickly gaining likes and retweets, making the café an instant online hit.
The comments were filled with laughter and admiration for the café's "unique" approach, with many people remarking how funny and clever the menu was, while some people asked where the store's location is so they can pay a visit. What Jungeun had hoped would be a clever jab had instead turned into a viral marketing campaign for Jinsoul's café.
Jungeun slammed her hand on the counter, frustration evident in her expression. "This can't be happening. Why is everyone loving this?"
Jiwoo, struggling to suppress her amusement, tried to be supportive. "Well, on the bright side, it looks like Jinsoul's getting a lot of attention."
Jungeun groaned, her shoulders slumping. "Yeah, thanks to me. She's probably laughing all the way to the bank."
Jiwoo, despite her attempts to be serious, couldn't hold back a chuckle. "It's kind of impressive how this whole thing blew up. I guess your prank gave The Brew Crew some pretty free advertising."
Jungeun scowled, her frustration mounting. "It wasn't supposed to help her! I wanted to get a rise out of her, not boost her business."
As if on cue, the door of *Sweet Heaven* opened and Jinsoul stepped in, holding a cupcake with a big, playful grin on her face. She walked over to Jungeun, who was still fuming behind the counter.
"Good morning, Jungeun!" Jinsoul called out cheerfully. "I just wanted to say thank you for the free advertisement. It's not every day a café gets such creative marketing."
Before Jungeun could respond, Jinsoul approached and, with a grin, shoved the cupcake into Jungeun's mouth. "Enjoy the sweet taste of my victory!" she said, her eyes sparkling with mischief.
Jungeun's eyes widened in shock, her mouth full of the cupcake. Jinsoul gave a mock salute and turned, walking back to her café with a chuckle, leaving Jungeun standing there, stunned and covered in frosting.
Jiwoo burst into laughter, barely able to contain her amusement. "I've got to hand it to her, that's one way to get back at you!"
Jungeun managed to swallow, wiping frosting off her face with a mix of embarrassment and irritation. "I guess I deserved that. But this isn't over." She said, causing Jiwoo to raise an eyebrow.
She took a deep breath, trying to refocus. "Next time, my prank's going to be even better," Jungeun declared, her voice filled with determination.
Jiwoo just rolled her eyes. "Yeah, sure." She muttered, clearly unconvinced.
