Serenity's pov
"YOU DOMT EVEN KNOW HOW TO TAKE CARE OF A CHILD!" My mother screamed. My parents were fighting over me again. I heard a door slam. My door opened.
"Come on serenity. We need to go. NOW." She said. She grabbed my suitcase. "Pack everything." She walked out. I packed all of my clothes and my pictures and everything I got. I grabbed my two big suitcases and pulled them downstairs, falling down the last three steps.
"Ow." I said before getting up.
"GET THE HELL OUT!" My mother screamed. I ran upstairs and saw my dad hit her. I screamed.
"Get off her dad!" I screamed. Dad turned his attention to my.
"Your leaving too?!" My dad screamed at me. I gulped.
"Serenity, go down stairs." Mom said.
"Did you pack everything?" I asked. She nodded.
"ANSWER MY DAMN QUESTION!" Dad screamed.
"I don't have to answer anythimg." I said grabbing my mother's luggage and walking out. I was pushed downstairs. I screamed.
"YOU FUCKING BASTARD!" I screamed at my dad. "PUSH ME DOWN THE STAIRS?! ARE YOU CRAZY?! YOU MOTHERFUCKING IDIOT! ARE YOU TRYING. TO KILL ME?!"
"Don't use that tone with me girl." My father sneered. "Or language." He walked down the stairs slowly. "YOU NEED TO BE TEACHED A LESSON!" He hit my face. My dad got on top of me and started hitting me. Someone burst through the door and pulled my dad off me.
"Come on... Serenity." Mom said and we left forever...

Jayy's pov
I walked through the school doors, cigarette in hand. Most people moved out of my way except for this one girl. She looked new. Ha! Sucker!
"Get out of my damn way." I growled. She looked up at me.
"Why?" She asked.
"Because I said so." I said. "You'll be punished." She didnt budge. I didn't want my cigarette anymore. I put it on her skin and rubbed it on her. She flinched and backed away, covering the burn.
"Ow!" She said.
"Thanks for being my ash tray." I smirked and walked away. Her blue eyes locked with mine and I saw pain. I looked at her arm and saw a bruise? And about five others? Wonder how she got those. I don't know. The school bell rang and I went to class.
The last bell rang and I walked out of class. I saw that girl again and a woman run up to her. I also saw some bruises on her. I felt guilty. I do bully people but not ones who are already being beaten. I'm not that cruel. I walked up to the new girl.
"Can I see you for a minute?" I asked her.
"Sure?" Fear hit her eyes.
"I'll bring her back." I said.
"Just bring her home. I have stuff in the oven." The woman left and I grabbed the girl's arm. She whimpered.
"P-Please don't h-hurt me." She flinched.
"I won't hurt you." I told her. She looked at me.
"Promise?" She asked.
"Promise." I said.
"Good." She said.
"Now... Who was that?"
"My mom."
"Figures. What are the bruises on your arm?" I asked pointing to one.
"Nothing." She covered it quickly.
"Tell me." I demanded.
"My dad hit me." She said.
"And the makeup on your cheek..." I said wiping it off. I reveiled a bruise. Another one? Some dad.
"My dad hit me there too." She said. She looked down.
"I'm sorry." I said.
"About what? I thought bullies were never sorry to their victims." She said.
"I'm sorry about giving you that burn. I'm sorry for what your dad did to you." I told her. She seemed amazed.
"My dad was put in prison for what he did to me and my mother. We moved here and I'm the new girl apparently." She said.
"Well... Why don't we get you home?" I offered even though I was supposed to anyway.
"Sure." I gave her my hand and we walked to my car.
