( I walk in my classroom to see one of my students Kara already there and I walk over to her) Hey Kara what are you doing here so early I say she doesn't answer hello I say oh sorry miss grant just studying my mom said if I don't I'll be grounded and I don't want to be grounded she says well ok but did you figure out what you wanted to study in college I say yea I do she says ok what is it I say music but don't know what kind yet she says well you need to figure it out before graduation comes around because we only have a few months until graduation so you got to hurry up I say yes ma'am she says ( I start to walk to my desk and sit down and she goes back to studying I work on my paperwork ) class is about to start so be ready because we have that quiz I say ( she just nods) (30 minutes later) all right class we will be doing a quiz so get out your pencils I say ( I see Kara grab her pencil and I smile) ok so here are you papers now you may start ( Kara starts and in 15 minutes she comes up to me and hands me her paper) thank you I say ( while taking the paper) your welcome and then she walks back to her desk ( I think man she is so cute I say while grading her paper wow she really stepped up her game usually she'd get a b but today she got an a I think to myself I'm proud of her and then all the kids being me there papers ) thank you wait in tell the end of class and I will give you your paper ok I say the the entire class says okay ok now go talk to your partner for your science project ok I say they say ok ( end of class comes everyone's eager besides Kara to get out of here so they go to my desk to go get their paper) here all yalls paper great job ( I think to myself that yes there good but not as good as Kara got today she was the last one to come to my desk to get her paper) here is your paper you did an excellent job today I say thank you wait did I get a 100 she says excited yes you did Kara I say have a nice day miss grant you to bye
