He is aggressively punching his punching bag, sweat dripping down his face. Haneul, his sister, stands nearby, concerned.
Haneul: (gently) "kookie, calm down. You're going to hurt yourself."
Jungkook: (through gritted teeth) "I can't, Hani. I need to let this out. I failed them... I should have done more."
Haneul: (placing a hand on his shoulder) "It's not your fault. Sometimes things just don't go as planned. Maybe talking to Jin might help."
Jungkook: (breathing heavily) "He’s still mad at me. He hasn't spoken to me since we got back."
The door opens and Jin walks in, looking exhausted and stressed. He takes in the scene and his gaze lands on Jungkook.
Jin: (calm but stern) "Jungkook, what are you doing? You should stop before you hurt yourself."
Jungkook: (turning away, frustrated) "Why did you agree to that collaboration, Jin? It's not going to fix anything."
Jin: (sighs) "It’s more complicated than that. We need this collaboration. It’s not just about the immediate aftermath of what happened."
Jungkook: (angry) "So what, you think working with them is going to solve everything? They still think they can just walk over us."
Haneul: (interjecting) "Jungkook, please listen to him. There’s a reason behind it."
Jin: (firmly) "Yes, there is. First, collaborating with them will help us gather legal proof. If we live with them, spend time with them, we can document their behavior and any evidence we need to build a strong case."
Jungkook: (scoffs) "And you think they’re just going to let us gather proof? They’ll find ways to cover their tracks."
Jin: (nodding) "It’s a risk, but it’s a calculated one. Second, we’ve suffered a lot financially. We lost shares, and our reputation took a hit. This collaboration could help us recover economically."
Jungkook: (frustrated) "So you’re saying we’re just going to play nice with them for money?"
Jin: (calmly) "It’s not just about money. It's about positioning ourselves to recover and move forward. We need to be strategic, not just emotional."
Haneul: "Jin’s right, Jungkook. It’s not just about us being upset. We need to think about the long-term effects and how to regain control."
Jungkook: (sighs, still angry) "What’s the third reason? There’s always something more with you."
Jin: (sincerely) "The third reason is personal. This is our chance to get back at them. They’ve wronged us in ways that go beyond business. If we play this right, we can take our revenge on our own terms."
Jungkook: (pauses, his anger fading slightly) "I just... I feel like everything we worked for is falling apart, and I can’t stand seeing us like this."
Jin: (softening) "I understand. It’s been hard for all of us. But we need to focus on how we can come out stronger. Anger won’t solve anything on its own."
Haneul: (nodding) "We all need to work together and use this opportunity to our advantage. It’s not going to be easy, but we have to try."
Jungkook: (sighs deeply) "Okay. I’ll try to understand. I just... I hate feeling so powerless."
Jin: (placing a hand on Jungkook’s shoulder) "We’re not powerless. We’re just in a tough spot right now. But if we stay focused and work as a team, we can overcome this."
Jungkook: (looking at Jin) "I’ll do my best. Just... please, let me know if there’s anything I can do to help."
Jin: (smiling slightly) "That’s all I’m asking. We need each other now more than ever."
