The days after Adrien’s last visit blurred together for Isabelle. She found herself thinking about him constantly, wondering if he felt the same pull she did. Though they hadn’t spoken about their feelings directly, there was no denying the growing bond between them.

One late afternoon, another knock sounded on her door. Isabelle's heart quickened. She opened it to find Adrien standing there, still in his work clothes, looking as though he'd come straight from his office.

“Adrien,” Isabelle said, her surprise evident, though a small smile played on her lips. “I wasn’t expecting you.”

“I couldn’t stay a day without seeing you,” Adrien replied, his tone serious, but his eyes softened as they met hers.

She stepped aside to let him in, her small apartment feeling cozier with him there. Adrien stood for a moment, taking in the sight of her half-finished paintings and the scattered brushes, but then his gaze returned to her, filled with an intensity she hadn’t seen before.

“I’ve been trying to keep things... simple between us,” Adrien began, his voice low, “but the truth is, I can’t stop thinking about you.”

Isabelle’s breath caught in her throat. She stood still, absorbing his words. Adrien moved closer, his presence filling the room and her heart with a mix of excitement and anticipation.

“There’s something between us,” Adrien continued, his voice softer now. “I feel it every time I see you. And I don’t want to pretend it’s not there anymore.”

Isabelle's heart raced, her emotions swirling. She had felt the same connection but hadn’t expected Adrien to admit it so openly. His closeness now felt electric, and she could hardly keep her breath steady.

“I... I don’t know what to say,” Isabelle stammered, her voice barely above a whisper.

“You don’t have to say anything,” Adrien said, closing the distance between them. He gently took her hand in his, his touch sending shivers through her. “I just wanted you to know how I feel.”

Their eyes locked, and Isabelle felt herself being pulled into him. Adrien’s hand softly brushed a loose strand of hair from her face, lingering near her cheek. Then, as if drawn by an invisible force, he leaned in.

Their lips met in a soft, tender kiss, a touch that was both tentative and full of emotion. Isabelle’s heart surged, and she felt herself melt into him. The kiss deepened, becoming more urgent, filled with a passion that neither could contain any longer. Isabelle’s hands found their way to his chest, feeling the warmth of his skin through his shirt.
Adrien’s hands found her waist, pulling her closer to him as their lips moved in perfect harmony. Isabelle felt her body respond to the heat of his touch, her senses overwhelmed by the taste of him—the sweet, intoxicating blend of mint and something undeniably Adrien. It was as if his very essence was pouring into her, filling her with a desire she could no longer contain.

Their lips parted briefly, both of them breathless, but the hunger in their eyes said everything. Without a word, Adrien pulled her back into his arms, their lips crashing together once more. This time, the kiss was deeper, more urgent, their tongues dancing together in a rhythm that sent sparks of pleasure coursing through Isabelle’s body. She could feel the heat rising between them, the overwhelming need for more.

Adrien’s hands roamed her body, tracing the curves of her waist, the small of her back, as if he were memorizing every inch of her. Isabelle’s fingers tangled in his hair, pulling him closer, not wanting the moment to end. The taste of him lingered on her lips, sweet and addictive, leaving her breathless and wanting more.

When they finally pulled apart, both of them panting, Isabelle felt her heart pounding in her chest. Her lips tingled, her skin flushed from the intensity of the kiss. She looked up at Adrien, her eyes wide with a mixture of surprise and desire.

“Adrien…” she whispered, her voice barely audible.

He pressed his forehead against hers, his breath warm against her skin. “I’ve wanted to do that for so long.”

“So have I,” Isabelle admitted, her heart still racing, her body still tingling from the kiss.

Isabelle smiled softly, her heart swelling with a happiness she hadn’t felt in years. There was no denying it now—what they had was real. Something deep, something that had taken root and was blossoming into something neither of them could control.

And in that moment, nothing else mattered. It was just them, their hearts beating as one, lost in the sweet intoxication of their newfound love.
