I opened my eyes as soon as my alarm went off, i groaned in annoyance knowing why it went off, I got dressed and got breakfast and left.

I arrived and i was greeted by my best friend Chaewon, "Y/N! I've missed my beautiful best friend"she pulled into a hug squeezing the air out of my lungs

"Chaewon i— I can't breathe"she finally let me go, "I've missed you more"i smiled, we walked inside the campus, there was new students, freshman, and us being the seniors is weird

i got a seat next to the window and Chaewon sat next to me. As me and Chaewon talked the classroom was filled with squealing, i guess the clique just arrived, as they entered the class all eyes were on them

and my gaze happened to meet Vernon's, i quickly look away, but i still felt his eyes on me. Class started and i was paying attention to the teacher but i couldn't help but feel eyes on me,

i shifted in my place feeling uncomfortable, "i don't know if you noticed but Vernon is literally staring into your soul"Chaewon whispered in my ear, he was in the other side of the room

i decided to look at him, as our eyes met, he smirked at winked at me, i rolled my eyes disgusted, "i think you're gonna be his next toy"Chaewon said excitedly, "i would rather die"i scoffed.

I finished classes for the day and i left as soon as possible since i was gonna be late for my job. I arrived at the cafe i work at, "hi Chan"i said as i put on my apron, "hey Y/N how was summer?"he asked,

"pretty boring i just worked"i said. I took my 5 minutes break and went to the restroom

i went back to the front and saw Vernon and his friends i rolled my eyes, "ready to order?"i put on an awkward smile, Vernon looked at me and smirked,

"hello Y/N right?"he asked eyeing my name patch, "yes, are you ready to order?"I sounded like a robot, he chuckled, "2 large caramel macchiatos and 1 large hot latte"he said,

gosh i wish i could smack the smirk out of his face, "here's your receipt and order number give us 5 minutes and your order will be ready"i smiled,

"thank you"he winked and left, i sighed and started preparing their drinks, once i finished i called out their order number, Vernon came to collect it

"how come i never saw you around campus?"he asked striking up a conversation, "maybe because i major in business and you in Tech?"i said, "you caught my eye today beautiful" i cursed myself for skipping a beat and blushing

"I'm busy could you go please"i went back to the cashier to take someone's order. After closing up i went home and slammed my body on the bed and drifted to sleep.

The next day i went to school late since i overslept and didn't hear the alarm go off, i got into class which has already started, my cheeks burned as the professor glared at me

"Y/N mind telling me why you were late?"she asked and I hang my head low, she sighed, "since you it's your first time i'll forgive you just this once go sit down"she said

I thanked her and i went to my seat, "Y/N! I can't believe you're late what happened?"Chaewon whispered, "I overslept"i said, she let out a loud chuckle making the professor look at us

i bit my lip to avoid laughing, i looked at my right and Vernon was leaning on his hand staring at me with a smile, my heart started racing

and my cheeks burned, i nervously opened my notebook and pretended to listen to whatever the heck the professor is saying, what does he want from me?
