"Oh Wow you still have a ways to go!", my mom said with a surprise look on her face.

That night we all ate till we were bloated and we talked till the someone passed out. But it was a lot of fun and I told Emma that Lilly and Joey are coming over tomorrow for a sleepover and she could come.

"Ya I would love to! I can't wait to meet Lillllllllyyy? And Joeeeeyyyyy? Right?", she asked

"Ya", I giggled.

*next day*

When I woke up the first thing that came to my mind was that I haven't talked to Carter sence the last day of school and even then we had a fight. I felt bad but I didn't want to apologise because I was still a little mad at him. But I still dicided to text him.

Hey Carter its Jessie, What's up? How's your summer so fare?

After that I stopped trying but then BEEP BEEP. I couldn't help but jump strate for my phone.

Noooooooooooooo!!! It felt like someone riped out my heart, stepped on it, cut it into a million little peaces, and put it back in my body.

I felt so bad not that Lilly was texting me but that Carter was still mad at me. But then I heard a BEEP BEEP.

Oh hi Jess and I'm sorry to it was a stupid move on my part lol

YAY!!! It made me feel so good and I didn't want to end owe friendship by something as stupid as that. Pluse we are only going in 8th grade slow down!

My eyes just poped out of my head when I read that. So I went down stairs for breakfast without my phone. By the time I got back I had about 10 text from Carter alone.
