About 2 months had passed since Shuichi and Kokichi started talking to one another, spending time and bonding with each other.

Shuichi, usually regarded as a player and a heartbreaker because of his.... Unfortunately high count of rejecting people, had started noticing some feelings in himself when he was around Kokichi.

It was a mixture of lust, attraction, and pure wanting.

Shuichi didn't know what to do with these emotions, his parents hadn't really educated him on the love aspect of life, they were never very showing with their emotions but much better than Kokichi's parents; Or so he had gathered.

But as his confusion grew, his obsession for Kokichi did too.

Hey, would you wanna hangout this weekend? I got a few tickets to this festival, my friends kinda ditched and I thought you could maybe come with me?

*Kokichi:msg*

What time? Where is the festival? What should I wear?

*Shuichi:msg*

Haha you could just say yes :)

*Kokichi:msg*

Oh, I'm sorry ^^ of course I'd like to go!

*Shuichi:msg*

Alright, I'll pick you up in about 2 hours? Just wear something casual I guess? It's not like you could ever go wrong with what you wear though <3

Okay! Cya in a few hours!

Shuichi laid his phone down after chatting with Kokichi, he smiled to himself.

"I wonder what he'll wear, maybe something like- no.. or maybe? No! It's Kokichi, hell he might as well show up in his school uniform! "

Shuichi talked aloud to himself, thinking about a few different cute outfits that Kokichi may look nice in, he decided to start getting ready even though he usually did so quickly and had ample time.

Shuichi got up from his bed and walked past his already prepared clothes. He had been planning to ask Kokichi to go out for a few hours now, but kept on fighting himself on whether or not he should.

The clothes on his chair were simple but nice; A white T shirt with a quote from his favorite detective, some lightly sun-washed blue jeans that fit him nicely, a dark-ish blue jacket with white trim, and some white shoes to match.

Shuichi took to refreshing himself with a nice shower.

"Shit, I have to tell my mom I'm going out.. I'll just do it after I shower I guess." Shuichi thought to himself as he picked which face mask he would be using after his shower.

As Shuichi showered he briefly thought of something that had been bothering him; All of the people that had been talking to Kokichi at school.

Of course, Kokichi was allowed to talk to who he wanted, but Shuichi thought Kokichi didn't talk to many people, so why did everyone suddenly have an interest in him?

He also reminisced about the gift he had given Kokichi the day before at the start of their Arithmetics class and the look on Kokichi's face when he saw that it was his favorite drink, grape Phanta of course.

This was something Shuichi had started doing a bit ago, right after he had realized he was falling for Kokichi.

Just the way Kokichi smiled, the way he stuttered, the way he was so considerate, the way he avoided stepping on bugs for their safety, the lengths he would go each weekend to conjure a course plan for Shuichi's tutoring sessions, everything about Kokichi was just... Amazing, to Shuichi.
