Meeting My Book Characters

He was petrified for a moment then he slammed the book shut he could still see the light shining through the book. Suddenly he dropped the book, it opened and he fell all the way through. He could see the world in the eyes of the reader and could see the world of "The Land Of Stories" as if he too had traveled into a book. He fell and fell but soon hit the same spot Alex and Conner had. He saw them as they were sitting and he was still petrified. They said "Hello there, I'm lost And this is my sister, do you know where we are? Please? Hello? "H-Hi There..?" Brystin responded, ''He was astonished to see his book characters come to life right before his eyes."Yours in "The Land Of Stories"- I- umm." Brystin said "Wait, how'd you know about the book- I- mean Where are we in this place like these woods?" Conner And Alex said unison, " Well- we are in eerie dark woods, quite creepy to be fair." Brystin said, "So what brings you here..?" Conner Asked "Oh- Well I- umm"He slightly shook as he spoke"I- This is going to be hard for you to believe, but I read a book about you two and fell inside the book." Brystin said,"We are book characters?!?!" Said Alex, "Well I'm gonna need more proof then that." Conner said, " Well umm, I know you used to visit your grandma at an old shack in the woods, and Conner sleeps in class, Alex loves books, and Alex makes straight A's." Said Brystin. Alex and Conner were in shock to see that a random person they Know they have never met knows so much about them. Then Alex said, "What's the name of the book?" Brystin responded with "The Land Of Stories, the same name of the book your Grandmother gave you."Brystin said,"Woah, that's pretty cool but I don't think any magic tricks are gonna make me believe I'm in a book." Brystin Responded with "well I could tell you your future, your Grandma's future I could tell you what's going to happen in the next 10 seconds, A pack of wolves are going to try to eat us."Suddenly they could hear a stampede of some kind of large animals in the distance so they darted to the bush and hid waiting hoping that they would be ok. They noticed the wolves were chasing a woman with a large sword on her belt. They wondered who they were. The wolves caught up to her and swore to her. Brystin thought "Did I change the timeline of events by talking to Alex and Conner?" He had been keeping his mind off getting home for the past hour or two because he was scared that he may never get back home to them. Suddenly the wolves came to attack Goldielocks she said "You aren't supposed to be here why are you here, Leave or be slaughtered. Those words rang in Brystins head. He thought "Can I Die Here. . . ?" Alex felt as if she was being watched. Her head darted from side to side and she noticed that a Wolf was STARING RIGHT AT THEM!! She tapped the two other boys on the shoulder and whispered, "Guys... I think we have company." She pointed at the wolves staring at them. Brystin said, "I think we should run." Conner responded, "We can't abandon her!" Brystin responded with, "Well you are just kids." Conner said with a rude tone, "Yeah me and Alex are just "Kids", we are almost thirteen and you're not the boss of us." Brystin was about to respond when,- "Hey look here I'm just trying to help, Suddenly the wolves ran in the opposite direction and Goldielocks said to them, " You guys should stay back, this isn't for you." Brystin didn't respond but fell back into the bushes pulling Conner and Alex with him. He then said, "We shouldn't interfere with things that are not our business." Alex responded with, "But we can't just leave them there that is inhumane." Brystin agreed but didn't want to admit it knowing that he could die. So he said coldly, "If we die here, we won't come back..." Alex responded in a very matter of fact voice,"Well, we can't just leave them there whether we die or not it's evil." Brystin, not wanting to die, still gave in to them since they were his favorite book characters and said, "Fine, we can go help but if one of you dies don't put it on me..." They left the bush ignoring Goldielocks complaints and reluctantly walked up to a wolf. A wolf pounced at Alex, Brystin leaped in the way just in time to grab the wolf and wrestle it to the ground, getting a scar across his eye that bled during battle. Conner and Alex stood there petrified not knowing what to do next thing they knew the wolves had run away with an injured wolf left behind. Goldielocks said, "I'll kill it." But Brystin walked up to the wailing wolf getting into a shielding position and covered the injured wolf in his jacket turning it from blue to bloody red. Goldilocks said, "Why did you help them? They have been trying to kill me for weeks." Brystin responded, "Just because it tried to kill you doesn't mean it doesn't have feelings.'' The Wolf whined less and less Brystin Said, "Well... it doesn't matter this is his last moment. . .'' Silence fell over them all as they sat thinking about what he had just said to them.Brystin then responded with, "It was your choice to give it a happy ending or a sad ending, it is for you to choose.'' Silence fell over them. Suddenly he was pulled back into the real world almost falling to the ground. Brystin Said, "Woah im back..?" suddenly his mother called his name for dinner. He looked at his clock and it said 3:27. He said, "No time has passed?!?" It had felt like hours for him in that weird world. He left for dinner feeling drowsy. His mother said, "You look quite tired. Something up?" Brystin then responded with, "N-No everything is fine mom!" She then said, "You look like you just came from a different world!" Brystin and his mother proceeded to eat dinner together. After eating dinner they both went to bed. Brystin dreamed of going back to that land but it felt so lifelike that he just assumed that he had fallen back into the book. Everyone was trapped in cages and they had a grim look on their face. It was as if I had caused this as if I was the problem. I woke up in a cold sweat, panting, "that was creepy..." I fell back asleep.
