Conversations surrounds me while the aromas of different coffees flows around the mansion's kitchen. By the time the orange in the sky peak out, we're all up. Mostly members fucking each other silly till someone eventually calls everyone for breakfast.

The porcelain colored walls, and the wooden interior feels like I'm in a farm cottage. Just a tad bigger.

An array of curved tabletops are splattered across the room, a makeshift lab class. Groups of different packs sit around their own tables, clique.

Around ours sits all the sixes members- Priest, Reid, Zeke, Noah, Nicholas, and the bane of my existence, Kaden.

The girls consist of me, Emma, and Kate, who's been talking about how she 'needs' to have 'real' meat for breakfast today. And Emma has been intertaining this conversation thoughout.

"I can only eat pancakes if I'm really craving them," Emma rolls her eyes at Kate as she talks, "but I don't want it, cause I want meat. Cause I haven't had meat in like three days-"

"Kate, bacon is meat." Emma squezes in before Kate continues, "- I haven't had proper meat in three days."

"You ate beef chops 2 days ago. You sent me pictures." Oh, and Kate and Emma are highschool friends.

"That wasn't two days ago."

"Yes it was. I was at yours for lunch." And you devoured more than half the food by yourself, I wanted to add.

"Ok whatever, it was so long ago." Kate sighs out.

"And we ate burgers yesterday." Emma looks on the verge of pulling her hair out.

"And we're probably eating eggs for breakfast. Or a sandwich," she laugh-cries out, "you guys make me so mad with your sandwiches." Kate looks like she's about to burst out into tears.

"K-kate," Emma laughs out, "Don't cry."

"You guys," a few tears actually do roll down her cheeks, "I can't not eat meat for another meal. It's horrible. "

"No Katie." I laugh out using her nickname, as she brushes her tears from her cheeks.

"I cry so often, but my period is like over so I don't know what's been going on." Kate sobs.

I want to interject and mention that it's probably not because she hasn't had meat, but I'm not opening that can of worms again.

"I think when you cried the other day, that was the first time I've ever seen you cry Kate." Reid says and I'm actually not surprised. Kate's only been an emotional wreck for about a month now, and Reid hasn't seen Kate since the previous Sixes party.

"And a lot of times I cry about food, like sometimes it's about having to eat food that I don't want." Kate squeks in Reid's direction. Here we go again.

"You know some people don't have any food." I swear Emma can't drop anything.

"I know but-"

"She cries about that too," I interrupt, "do you remember the homeless guy." I laugh and they both join in.

"Yeah Kate, so if you get any food you need to be happy, because he probably doesn't even have food today. Or he's dead." Reid says seriously.

Another round of tears pool in Kate's eyes.

"You're going to make her cry about that too." I point at Reid.

Priest pulls her into a side hug, and Kate's bar stool tumbles a bit. "I'll make you a steak for breakfast." Priest says and Kate beams at him.
