*ZAYNS POV*
I go down to Emma's room the next to pick her up for breakfast, I planned to take her to Ellen's Stardust Diner where our first date was. I thought that this may trigger her memory or something. I was hoping she would remember at least something.
She answers the door, "I thought you wouldn't show after you ran last night." she says.
"Nice to see you too, Emma." I reply.
She follows me down the hallway of the hotel and out the door and onto the streets, "Where are we going?" she questions.
"It's a surprise." I tell her.
She smiles and hooks her arm onto mine. We walk down to the familiar diner at the end of the road. I open the door for her and she walks in. I order a table for two and a waitress leads us to a booth. Of course, it was the same booth we had last time we were here.
"This place is really cute, I've never been here before." Emma says.
I sigh, "Yeah, it has great food too."
"Zayn, can I ask you something?" She says to me.
I get my hopes up and reply, "Yeah, anything."
"Why did you run off last night?" she asks.
I look at her eyes and they show how worried she is about me, "How much do you remember about Jason?" I ask her.
"I remember him being my boyfriend and us meeting at a bar." she says.
I sigh, "You don't remember him beating you?" I ask.
A gasp escapes her lips, "No?" she pauses, "Zayn, he would never do that to me."
"That shows how much you remember." I mutter.
"Zayn, i'm trying my hardest here. But, when you say that about my boyfriend, i'm done." she gets up. "By the way, I have a date with him tonight so don't try to stop me."
I grab her arm before she starts to walk off, "I'm just trying to help you, Em." I tell her.
She sighs, "I know, Zayn, and thats why I need to prove you wrong." she says.
I watch her leave the diner. I'd never seen her that mad. This was going to be a lot more work then I thought.
