Swimming Incident

Cara's POV:
Since I woke up today, I've noticed something different about Joe. He seems much.. Happier! 'LETS GO SWIMMINGGG!' Joe shouts, pumping his fist into the air. Since it's one of our only free days, the whole gang has decided to have a day by the pool. I go into the bathroom to change into a mint green bikini, with white spots. I stare at myself in the mirror and smile. Luckily, I'm quite confident with my body, and don't care what other people think. I scrape my long, thick hair into a messy bun and splash my face with cold water. I walk out of the bathroom to find Joe in some green swim shorts and a long sleeved top. 'Lets go!' Joe says excitedly, and grabs my hand.

Joe's POV:
I so excited to be spending time with Cara, that I completely forget about the clear marks on my arms. I grab Cara's hand, and it fits perfectly into mine. Forgetting to let go of Cara's hand when we arrive at the pool where everyone is waiting for us, I see Caspar give me a wink and I quickly drop Cara's hand. I pull off my top, and jump into the pool before anyone else does. I splash around like a little kid, and then Marcus, Alfie, Jim and Caspar jump in after me. I lift up my arms and splash everyone, forgetting once again about my scars. Everyone just stops, and stares at me. 'What's everyone staring at?' I ask innocently, slowly lowering my arms. 'Wha..what was that on your arms Joe?' Zoe asks shakily, clearly trying to hold back tears. 'What things on my arms?' I say with a smile. 'Joe.. The..the cuts o..on your arms..' Troye stutters. 'Huh? Oh them, I wonder how they got there!' I say, with an extremely fake laugh. Everyone just keeps staring at me, with shocked looks on their faces and tears in their eyes. 'You..you know what, I'm just gonna.. I'm just gonna go inside, I feel a bit sick.' I say anxiously, and hop out of the pool, walking straight past everyone, not daring to look anyone in the eye.

Alfie's POV:
The marks on Joe's arms were very clear, and very deep. I honestly feel like crying, he's like a brother to me, why would he do this to himself? I look over to Zoe who has a few tears rolling down her cheeks. I go and give her a cuddle, and tell her it's going to be alright. I then look over to Cara, who is full on crying her eyes out. I never knew Cara and Joe were that close...
'Guys I think we all just need to chill out a little bit' Marcus says worriedly. 'I'm sure Joe will be fine.' He says again. 'I don't understand why he would do this to himself' Cara says, tears rolling down her cheeks. 'I thought he was happy, ever since we watched those movies and he.. Never mind.' Cara looks at the floor, blushing slightly. She still has tears pouring out of her eyes. Everyone just looks at each other, wondering what could have possibly happened between Cara and Joe.
I just hope he's alright.
Who am I kidding, he's not alright.
