                    It's a deal

The moon seemed to look rather bright tonight, as if she was encouraging Harry to enjoy this special moment maybe a little bit. How ironic it was. The boy who has never had a partner in his entire eighteen years of life, is now engaged. Yes, he dreamt of becoming a husband someday but definitely did not wish for it to happen this early.

He shivered when the cold breeze hit his naked face lightly. He had opened this extremely large window to look at the full moon but as an Omega he always had a hard time enduring the cold. He reached out for the knob to close the window. However, he had to stop instantly. The familiar threatening smell filled his nostrils and his body with fear and desire, freezing him on his spot.

“Harry?”

The demanding tone made Harry go weak on his knees. He bit down on his lower lip a little harshly, trying to calm himself down and ever so slowly turned around to look at the Alpha, who was already looking at him with the same cold, expressionless stare.

“S-Sorry Lou- Mr Tomlinson, I needed some air but it-”

“You can call me Louis”, the Alpha spoke, cutting him off. “There are a few things that I want to discuss with you…before this wedding thing”, Louis looked at him, raising an eyebrow in order to see the other's reaction.

But the latter just bit his lip and nodded. ‘Whatever it is, he will just listen and accept as always’ , Harry thought and waited for Louis to continue. Louis did not fancy the way Harry had responded. The Alpha liked verbal responses. To him, verbal response meant respect and Louis Tomlinson craved respect. Although he let it slide for this one time. Harry will learn gradually, he felt. He then decided to proceed with his speech to avoid making the poor boy even more nervous.

“So, Harry….” He began to speak but trailed off a bit. For some unknown reason he did not wish to sound brutal while explaining his not so pleasant proposal.

“Look, Harry you're very likely well aware that this engagement or this marriage hold no meaning to me. This marriage will not bear these love and compassion shits. We will cooperate in fulfilling our physical needs. However, I truly do not wish for us to get involved with emotions. I hope it is clear “, Louis stopped and waited patiently for Harry's response. He really wanted Harry to cooperate with him.

Harry started fiddling with his rings and stayed quiet for a while. Louis on the other hand, started to become impatient. But then Harry started to speak softly while looking at him with those forest green eyes.

“C-Crystal clear, Mr Tomlinson- I mean Louis”, the young boy answered softly and again diverted his gaze towards his shoes. Outside, the chilling breeze kept on tormenting his bare face and he honestly wanted Louis to leave him alone so that he could finally close this damn window as well as calm his shaky legs.

“Lovely! Then it's a deal! Have a splendid night, Harry”, Louis said with the same professional tone and quickly walked away from him.

Harry sighed in relief when the inebriating aroma vanished from the room. He reached out for the knob and finally closed the caucasian window. He stood there for a few minutes to process the very short conversation between him and the Alpha. He now completely acknowledged the situation and for some unknown reason it made him.. sad. He knew that Louis was right. This marriage had always been a business deal for him too, a deal to make his father happy. Then why was his heart aching so much?

They left the mansion shortly afterwards. Harry did not see Louis anywhere after their conversation. They bid Johannah their goodbyes and got in the limo. Throughout the ride, he avoided speaking and laid his head beside the windscreen. His father was content. He had been talking, laughing or complimenting the Tomlinsons to him. While Harry, in response, only gave him a faint smile which was left unseen by his father.
