Lovely isn't it, how we use to be young
How we didn't have a care in the world
How we use to play
And no one had anything to say

Lovely isn't it, that when we were young
We use to play hide and seek
Now we hide from the truth
And seek perfection

Lovely isn't it, how we use to wish to be older
Now we wish to be younger and free
We feel trapped like fish out of sea

Lovely isn't it, how when we were teenagers
We use to look for true love
Now we just sit and stare
And wonder how is all this fair

Lovely isn't it, how Now we feel lifeless
We ask how can life be so heartless
Or was I so careless
Because I was to giving and selfless

Lovely isn't it, how Now we wish for more
Or maybe just for things we saw
How Now life seems so dull and black
Like this pain on my neck

Lovely isn't it that Now we drink
So much alcohol or consum drugs
It sucks, how we get sick
So much that it reeks

Lovely isn't it, how we knew we would
Grow up but still thought we'd stay young
Just like Peter Pan
Or when we use to watch Mr Bean

Lovely isn't it, how growing up
Can bring so much depression
So much we keep it in with a smile
As we all fight for attention

Lovely isn't it, how Now we ask for death
But when we were younger that word was forbidden
You would never be forgiven
But now it seems like the right path
