Both Jeonghan was frantically pacing back and forth trying to find a way out while Seungcheol had already given up and lied on the floor.
"Ugh why does the room have no service?" Shaking his phone up in the air, Jeonghan was jumping about to get the slightest bit of service to call for help.
Eventually, he grew tired and leaned himself on the door. "How can you be so calm, don't you have practice?"
Seungcheol was having the time of his life, playing no Wi-Fi mobile games on his phone while knowing he doesn't have to do practice today.
"Yeah, but I can always skip it".
Jeonghan placed his hands on his temple as he placed his head on the stubborn door.
"I can't believe I'm missing a chunk of my study time to stay in a locked room doing nothing. Are you not going to help at all?!"
"Why are just so obsessed with studying? It's only for a bit yet you're freaking out!"
"Because it's not enough! It's never enough. No matter what I do."
Tears threatening to fall, Jeonghan snapped, his voice trembling as he slowly curled himself into a ball.
Shocked at seeing this side of Jeonghan, Seungcheol quickly got up and comforted the guy. Wrapping his arm around Jeonghan's shoulder, Seungcheol calmed him down.
Wanted to get it off his chest, Jeonghan, who couldn't even look up, slowly exhaled.
"Ever since I was born, I was never around my parents. It was always nannies and butlers.
As I grew older, the more attention I wanted from them. I would always ask to go to their office or beg to stay with them for a bit yet they were too busy for me. I had everything but my heart were still aching for a drop of love.
So a few years ago, when I managed to get into the university, I told my parents I would have to leave Busan. I guess I sort of liked the attention since they started worrying and asking me a bunch of questions.
When I left Busan, the last thing my father told me was to study hard, study hard so that they could attend my award ceremonies and competitions.

Attentively listening, Seungcheol embraced the guy, not caring if they were close enough to or not
Appreciating his effort, Jeonghan rested his head on the older's chest. The scent of Seungcheol's lavender cologne soothing his heavy heart.
"Jeonghan you're so special, don't let anyone make you feel like you aren't. Please keep trying, you have all your amazing friends, do it for them. Do it for me."
Wiping his tears with his sleeve, Jeonghan returned back into calmer mood. It took a while for him to stop sniffling but Seungcheol didn't rush him, letting him take his time.
"Thank you. For all of this." His head still on Seungcheol's shoulder as they sit in the comfortable silence.
"No worries, you can always talk to m-"
"Awwww" It was Joshua and Seungkwan peeping at the pair, who now realized what they were doing.
Quickly breaking the embrace and standing up, Jeonghan gave them a death smile "Boo Seungkwan and Hong Joshua Jisooo. How did you get in here?"
"We saw the door was closed even though there was a massive sign saying do not close the door since there's a malfunction in the lock so we went to see if anyone was inside." They explained, chaotic but still in unison.
Jeonghan and Seungcheol looked at each other, both wanting to slap themselves for being so careless.
Cautiously, Seungkwan mumbled to Jisoo "So this is the stuff you had to get done when you said you had to leave then?"
Seungcheol chuckled in amusement and shook his head "You're so loud Kwan, we can hear you"
Looking up and down at them, Jeonghan crossed his arms. "How long have you two been here?"
"Since you said thank you, so not that long, really"
After a long conversation with Jeonghan and Seungcheol, the pair had to promise that they wouldn't tell a soul and was given snacks as bribery.
Happy to be out of the studio, Jeonghan was much more energetic, more than he had ever been around Seungcheol, the older immediately matching his vibe.
