Due to the fact their tree house was close to the everfree forest, they were infected And the fact they were so young means the VV spread quickly as fillies in my au drink lots of water Their last moments were huddled up together

Their death made rarity, applejack, and rainbow dash more determined to stop the infected and the VV from spreading and harming anyone else Their death also made pinkie determined to help others, and twilight to find a cure
