𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐊 𝐏𝐄𝐍

FLASHBACK - 8 YEARS AGO

Walker wasn't the best student.

He was one of the popular kids, even in 1st grade.

His ego was insanely high, even though most of the kids in his grade doesn't even know what that means. 

It was a normal Monday, everyone was obviously tired. The teacher was handing out handwriting worksheets. 

Madeline is definitely one of the better, maybe even the best student. She is always prepared. 

The one thing she always had is her favorite pink pen. The only thing her dad gave her before he died. 

She suddenly feels a tap on her shoulder and looks behind her.

"Hey do you have a pencil I can borrow?" Walker asks, clearly not ready for class. 

"Sorry I don't I only have this", She responds, turning around and continuing her worksheet.

10 MINUTES LATER 

Madeline raises her hand, "May I go to the bathroom?" she asks, as the teacher looks at her and nods saying, "Yes, but make it quick!"

She rushes out of the room and heads down the hall.

Meanwhile, Walker is goofing around with his friends, still needing a pencil. 

He glances over to Madelines desk, not even knowing she was gone. 

He sees the pink pen and without even thinking, he snatches it and puts it in his backpack. 

Acting like nothing happened, he goes back to goofing off with his friends. 

Madeline walks back in to the classroom, but as soon as she sits down everyone starts packing up and the teacher takes them to lunch. 

She looks down at where the pen used to be, and it's not there anymore. 

"Madeline! It's time for lunch!" The teacher says, not noticing the panicked look on the young girls face. 

They walk out of the classroom, and the pink pen is never to be seen again by Madeline.

TODAY

MADELINES POV

It's a really important day for me. 

Today is the premiere for my 5th movie, Deadpool x Wolverine. I play Deadpool's daughter, Squirrelpool. I giggle every time I hear the name. I work with my absolute role model, Ryan Reynolds.

I love his movies so much, my favorites are definitely Deadpool 2 and The Adam Project. Young Adam in that movie seems so familiar but I don't know why.

Anyways, I put on a black dress and I'm doing my makeup. My sister Amelia starts yelling and running up the stairs, "MADELINE WE'RE GONNA BE LATE HURRY UP!" 

Before I know it, she's BARGING in my room and tells me the limo is here, and Ryan, Blake, and Hugh are waiting for us.

I look at the time and it's literally 3:43. The premiere starts at 6.  I do start to hurry up though, because I don't feel like getting screamed at even more.

I look on my vanity, when my eye catches the pencil pouch I had in 1st grade. 

I had a pink pen that my dad gave me before he died, and I never saw it again after one day in class.

Amelia starts yelling at me again so I run to the limo and get in, with my sister right behind me. 

"Hey guys, just letting you know we're gonna pick up another person real quick and he's gonna walk about with us. His name is Walker."

"Oh my god." I say, not even realizing I said it completely out loud.

WALKERS POV

I'm trying to get ready fast because Ryan just texted me and said they're on the way and they have some other people with them in the limo. 

They're like 5 minutes away and I hear my dad run upstairs and run into my room.

"Walker hurry up, they're on their way" He says.

"Okay okay i'm coming chill out dad."

"Ooooo are you getting ready for your crushhhhhhhhh" He says.

"Dad I don't like Madeline!!"

"sur-"

My dad gets cut off by the beep of a horn, and we run downstairs and open the door as we run out and rush to get in the car, and then I see her.
