Everyone awoke the next day bright and early. They got to work all on time so they didn't have to face connie early in the morning.

Zoe was with max, rita, Dylan and robyn in the staff room when cal burst in.

" dixie and iain are on their way in with a elder paient who has been using a chain saw you can guess the rest! ETA 5 minutes!"

With that zoe went to resus with Dylan robyn and rita to get prepared for what looked a very serious injury.

5 minutes later dixie and iain arrived but iain had a leg in his hand.

"Oh my god!' Said robyn. She was speechless.

'Right this is David, 60 year old male who was using a chainsaw up a tree. He then fell and the chainsaw landed on his leg. He was unconscious at the scence so a suspected head injury. Pulse 50, BP 1/20 we have given him 20 milligrams of morphine. Have I missed anything iain?'

'Yes the lady who came in with us is his wife'

'Right thanks you two someone call theatre and say we need a urgent slot now!'

Meanwhile in reception they were haveing a bit if trouble with a smoker who thought it was ok to light up a fag.

'Excuse me you can't smoke that in here' Said noel in the nicest voice he could.

'And what will happen if I do'

'Then I will call security to escorts you out'

'Ok ok I will go out' but when he saw noel go to the back of the desk he ran round the back and into cubicles.

The reason he was in the hospital was because he was with one of his drunken friends. He went and found him and pulled the curtain around them so nobody could see what they were doing.

His friend was asleep so he decided to leave him peacefully, and have a fag. But he didn't know was that he lit up next to a oxygen tank... which caused a explosion.

The alarms went off but these two were dead. Lucky nobody was at the computer at the time so they didn't get caught up in it.

Fire was speaking the cubicles there was doctors rushing around everywhere. Cubicles was cleared so they went to help in resus only zoe and Dylan weren't finnished.

Connie burst in. 'What do you think you are doing the fire alarms are going off and we have had a explosion'

'Just give us a couple of minutes connie'

'No come on'

'Everyone rushes ed out of resus but Dylan and zoe they just carried on. 10 minutes later they were done but could only get themselves out of the building so they had to take a risk and leave David inside.

'Are you two ok' Said the man in charge of the fire brigade

'Yeah Yeah but there is still a 60 year old man in resus with no foot we couldn't get him out as well' Said zoe panting.

'Ok we will get him out'

2 hours later the fire was out but they had no cubicles. Nothing else was affected it was only cubicles which ment that they had to close down the ED to get it refurbished.

Everyone was out safe and sound apart from some paients that had a bit of smoke inhalation.
