I was in Beacon hills helping Noah find a messing girl in the woods, for some reason he decided to call in Scott for help I rolled my eyes and stood next to his son Mischief as I like to call him. We found a scent that led us further into the woods to what looks like a coyotes den
"Noah maybe we shouldn't" I said as I looked around for any indication she's here
As usual I get ignored by Noah and Scott they both go in anyway and mischief comes to stand by me I smile at him as my phone rings, I reach into my jacket and answer
"Bennett" I answered
"Alex um something happened you should come back to mystic falls" my best friend Caroline said I got worried by the sound of her voice
"Care what's going on?" I asked her now worried myself
"Something happened to your grams Alex I'm so sorry" she said
"Please no not grams care please tell me she isn't dead" I walked away from the scene to my police car
"Alex I'm so sorry" she kept apologizing
"I'll be home in the morning I'll take leave from work, does Abby know" I asked her
"I believe she does I don't know" she said
"Ok I'll call her as soon as we are done talking, thank you for calling Caroline" I spoke as my voice creaked
"No problem Al I'll see you tomorrow" she said to me
"Yeah I'll see you tomorrow or maybe tonight" I spoke as we both hung up
I took a deep breath and felt a spirit go through, I clenched my heart as tears were in my eyes,as I dried my eyes I called a contact that could get me in touch with my mother
"Alex are you ok" mom asked me I said
"No mom um....... Caroline just called me and said something happened to grams, I'm going there in the morning, do you want me to come pick you up or something" I asked her
"Oh god no, uh yeah yeah can you if you can that would be great thank you sweetheart" mom said
"You're welcome I'll call you later love you" she said she loves me as well and we hung up
Just then mischief and my other best friend Derek stood in front of me with worried looks
"Hey are you ok what happened" they both asked at the same time. I dried my tears
"I'm not sure one of my best friends from my home town called me and said something happened to my grandmother, knowing my little sister she probably had something to do with this" I explained they both nodded because they both know what it feels like to lose someone that was or is like a parent to you or is you're parent
Both Noah and Scott came back as I was getting in the police car wiping what was left of my tear stained face
"What happened,are you ok officer Bennett" Noah asked me I nodded my head
"Sir can I talk to you at the station" I asked him he nodded, got into his police car the boys getting into Roscoe and Derek getting into his car and we all went our separate ways,Noah and I going back to the precinct,Derek going home to Cora,his wife and he's kid and stiles and Scott going home.
Yes I'm having Derek have a kid early, yes the kids name is Eli, who do you guys think the mother is?
