Days went by like this as beomgyu and taehyun had been together for a while and taehyun was preparing himself to confront his mother to break the engagement with Yuncha as soon it's possible.
He doesn't want beomgyu to get any harm because of his selfish mother
Taehyun put his phone inside his pocket before walking out of the house, he was going out for a walk but then suddenly he feels his phone ringing so he took out his phone to see it was Yuncha who is calling him.
He raised his eyebrows as it's been few days that he didn't talk to the girl neither Yuncha contact him. He picks up the call and put his phone on his ear.
"Hello?'
"Can we meet right now?"
Taehyun get confused why she wants to meet suddenly but didn't refuse because he thinks he should meet and clear out everything by talking with her that he is not interested in her and don't want this engagement.
At cafe
Sitting across each other now taehyun was thinking how to start the conversation and when he was about to speak Yuncha spoke up first.
"May I ask you why you seems so different?" She asked, taehyun stared at her face before clearing his throat.
"Listen Yuncha, I want to say that I don't this engagement with you, to be honest I was never interested in you no matter how hard I tried to but nothing works so but now i already have someone else in my life who i actually love so i hope you will understand" taehyun politely says, waiting for Yuncha's answer but she seems Silent with no expression on her face.
After few minutes later she takes a deep breath and gets up from the chair making taehyun get more confused by her.
"Your mother invited us for a dinner tonight so see you there" with that she turns and left.
Taehyun was left speechless because he didn't understand why she didn't say anything but he thought to forget about it for now.
Time skip
At restaurant
Taehyun were sitting with his mother beside him and Yuncha's family were sitting across him.
Yuncha was silent from the beginning while his family were talking with Mrs Kang for a while.
Taehyun get pissed off when his mother brings the topic of engagement again. He was about to say something but Yuncha spoke before.
