RISING FROM THE ASHES.

A Picture-Perfect Love

Riya: "Do you remember the first time we met, Aryan? It was right there, in front of the library."

Aryan: "Of course I do. You were struggling with that giant stack of books. I couldn’t just walk by and not help you."

Riya (laughing): "Yeah, and you ended up dropping half of them!"

Aryan: "Hey, I was trying to be a gentleman! But, I guess that worked out in my favor, didn’t it?"

Riya: "It did. Who knew that dropping a bunch of books would lead to this?" (She gestures around, taking in their cozy apartment filled with memories.) "Sometimes it feels like a dream, you know? Like everything fell into place perfectly."

Aryan: "I know what you mean. We've been through so much together. It’s like we were made for each other."

Riya: "Remember how our friends used to tease us about being the 'perfect couple'? They’d always say we were 'relationship goals.'"

Aryan: "Yeah, that was pretty funny. But honestly, they weren’t wrong. We just...fit, don’t we?"

Riya: "We do. I mean, who else would put up with your terrible jokes and midnight pizza cravings?" (She smiles, nudging him playfully.)

Aryan: "And who else would make me watch all those rom-coms on Friday nights?" (He grins, pulling her closer.) "But I wouldn’t change any of it. You’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me, Riya."

Riya: "You’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me too, Aryan." *(She rests her head on his shoulder, feeling the warmth of his embrace.)* "I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us."

Aryan (softly):"Me too, Riya. Me too."

(They sat in silence for a moment, the comfortable kind that only comes from being with someone you truly love.)

Riya: "Do you think we’ll always be like this? Happy, I mean."

Aryan: "I think as long as we have each other, we will be." (He kisses the top of her head.) "We’re unstoppable, remember?"

Riya: "Yeah. Unstoppable." (She repeats the word, letting it settle in her heart. For now, at least, everything feels perfect.)
