The Shadow (Chishiya x Reader)

"What do you mean he's not the imposter, he killed them!" Kopii shouted while pointing at the people who died last round.

"Yes that may be the case but he was drugged." Chishiya explained while walking towards Kato and pulling out a syringe in his pocket. "This syringe makes the person aggressive towards anyone, the imposter injected him with this to make it look like he's the killer."

"The drug injected in him is the type where whatever is said to him would make him follow and aggressive. For example, you must protect the emergency button with your life or kill anyone who gets close to it. It also takes thirty minutes for the drug to take effect so whoever was with him that time had planned this for the long run."

"What? That's ridiculous! How do you even know about this drug?" Entanglement, who looked like she was about to pass out said.

In this situation, everyone was paying attention to whoever was speaking.

"I'm a medical student in the real world."

"B-but if he's not the imposter, who i-is?" Derek questioned while hiding behind Shizuku.

Chishiya looked around the room before his eyes landed on the kid. The next words that came out from his mouth shocked me to the core.

"I don't know, why don't you tell me." His voice was filled with poison as he directed everyone's attention to the kid.

"W-what? Y-you can't possibly think i-it's me!" The kid exclaimed while clutching Shizuku's shirt.

"Yeah it's not him, it won't make sense if its him. I was with him the last round." Shizuku defended the kid and Chishiya smirked.

"The perfect cover up don't you think?" Chishiya pointed out and Shizuku became confused. "Did you expect us to vote Kato this round? If we do then the game will continue on as he wasn't the imposter. That would break the remaining trust we have for each other resulting on voting one another. Since you looked like the most innocent one here, you used Shizuku so you can have protection." 

"I-it's not me! I s-swear!" Tears started falling from the kid's eyes.

"Entanglement, if you could remember correctly. Thirty minutes ago, you saw Derek with Kato fixing reactor right?" 

"I-I'm not sure but I think I did." 

"That was the time where he injected him with the drug, do you remember what Derek told Kato after fixing the reactor?" Entanglement widened her eyes in realization as she remembered the event.

"You should protect the emergency button with me." 

"Kopii, you mentioned before that you suddenly saw Derek appeared in electric before the lights went on. This was six rounds ago." 

"I-I'm also not sure, what I know is I was alone in the room. Fixing lights was my favorite task and when it came on, I went up to see Derek doing downloads." 

"D-downloads takes five seconds, I didn't want to leave it a-and come back l-later!" Derek said.

"But before the lights went out I was doing the wires, you weren't there before that." Kopii pointed out. "And the dead body was found in medbay. You could had vented." 

"And Y/n..." I flinched when Chishiya called my name as I still couldn't believe that Derek was the imposter. "When the oxygen went out, Derek saved you with a gun right?"

"Y-yeah, he saved me from Elaine when she was about to kill me." I replied.

"S-see! Why would I save her if I was the i-imposter!" Derek yelled and Chishiya pointed at the frame on the wall.
