Mia's Pov

As my eyes goes toward the main entrance I see david enter with jake and as I see them I get scared not because I was scared that he will see me and dave together but scared that he will see lucas with us and if he ask who is lucas so I don't have any answer to give him so I sifted my chair infront of lucas chair so now my chair was in between if lucas and david so david eyes don't go over there. After that I wave my hand toward dave for diverting his mind toward me from lucas who was talking non stop saying every thing that happen in last one year. After I wave my hand for atleast 5 to 6 time finally dave attention come toward me. As his mind comes to me I try to make him understand that David is here and we had to take lucas from here by doing action so that lucas don't get to know what we are talking about also I message him but I think his phone is on silent that's why he didn't get to know that I had message him but I think dave is to much dumb to understand what I am trying to say but I think God's hand is on my head after such difficulties they had given in my life so lucas himself said that

Lucas: dave uncle I wanna go yo wash room are you coming with me or staying with mia
Dave was staring at me like he want permission from me for going with lucas. Ohh god why this men have to do opposite all the time when it's needed why this man is so dumb to understand that david is here

Me: why are you looking at me lucas wanna go to wash room go with him

Lucas: uff mia he is asking for permission don't you get it he is such an amazing or you can say such a great lover you are not gonna to get anywhere else he ask you for your permission before doing anything even before going to wash room "
Saying this lucas started to laugh and dave was quiet embarrassed and well I was to busy thinking about david so I said

Me: dave just go with him

Dave: okay

What a perfect time as they went away david and jake come to me

David: mia you here

Me: yeah I had said right that I am gonna to go on lunch with some one

David: so that some one was dave

Me: yeah actually he request me to go with him so yeah

David: can I ask you something

Me: yeah sure ask what ever you what to ask

David: do you love him back by any chance

Me: what no I don't love him how could this thought even cross your mind ohh yeah I think you are talking like this because of last night right
Before david could answer me jake interrupt

Jake: yes mia you are right this thought cross his mind from last night only

Me:david I had said at that time only that I wanna talk something important with him that why I had gone with him please try to understand and don't think like this I don't love him

David: relax mia I got it now relax and even if you do I am no one to question

Me: why not you are my bestfriend now to I know I had went away from you without informing you but I request you to not take that reason to weaken our friendship

David: let's just leave this topic I don't want to talk about this and about the past I am just hurt because you didn't believe me enough to say me everything and ask for help from me and not from that dave

Me: I sorry about that to.....

I was cut off as lucas speak

Lucas: mia who is this men
Ohh no lucas and dave were return from washroom now what should I answer to david not just david but also lucas how should I introduce both of them to each other

Me: lucas he is david

Lucas: how do you know him

Me: actually...." I was cut off by dave

Dave: he is mia's boss

Lucas: ohh how bad boss is he can't he let mia have lunch with her family peacefully

Mia: lucas mind your language who taught you this he isn't disturbing me he was here because of his own work and he is not just my boss but also my best friend

Lucas: ohh then where was he till this 5 year when you were suffering alone doesn't a best friend have responsibility to take care of their friend

Mia: stop it lucas it was my mistake not his

Lucas: but..." thank god dave cut him off and stop him

Dave: lucas I think you forget how to talk with elders. I am sorry dave, lucas let's go

After they went away I got a message from dave
Dave: if david ask about lucas just say that he is the son of my brother and then covering whatever lucas said you can do that by yourself
