Y/N sat cross-legged on her living room floor, a notepad sprawled out in front of her, scribbled with plans and reminders. Her heart raced with anticipation as she drafted a message to Takemichi.
[Hey, Takemichi! It's Y/N. I need to talk to you. Can we meet up?]
With a deep breath, she hit send, excitement bubbling within her. She knew time was of the essence; every moment counted in this world where fate seemed to twist in the blink of an eye.
A few minutes passed before her phone buzzed with a response.
[Of course! Let's meet at the usual spot!]
She grinned, feeling a rush of determination. The "usual spot" was a small park where Takemichi often gathered with friends after school.

Once she arrived, Y/N spotted Takemichi sitting on a bench, his hair slightly messy and a look of eagerness on his face.
He jumped up as she approached, his expression lighting up.
"Y/N! You're here!" he exclaimed, pulling her into a quick hug. Y/N was surprised.
(Woahh, a hug! It was nothing for me before, but now I have my memories back, it's kinda embarrassing!)
"What's going on?... Why are you looking away??"
"Ahem! It's nothing. "
"Yeah? So what's up? You seem a bit...different."
Y/N widened her eyes.
(D-don't tell me he noticed that I remembered my past? Is it pretty obvious??)
"What are you saying? I'm still me."
"You looked haggard and ugly."
"You bastard!!!"
Y/N hit him on his shoulder but Takemichi just laughed.
"So? What's going on?"
"Geez!....I've been doing some thinking," Y/N began, her tone brightening as she settled onto the bench beside him. "But first, how have you been?"
Takemichi grinned, a hint of sheepishness in his eyes. "Oh, you know, same old. Just trying to figure things out, school, friends... and my love life, or lack thereof." He chuckled, scratching the back of his head.
"Yeah? Any luck?" Y/N teased, leaning in with genuine curiosity.
"Well, I might've accidentally asked someone out, but it didn't go as planned," he admitted, his cheeks turning slightly pink. "But I'm getting there!"
Y/N laughed, enjoying the light-hearted moment. "You'll get it right eventually, but I hope you get rejected."
"Wow. What a sweet cheer from you."
"Te-hee! Just kidding. You are a good person, and everyone likes potatoes so eventually you'll get it."
"Are you saying I looked like a potato?"
"I didn't say that. You did."
"Tsk, whatever." He paused, then his expression turned more serious. "Speaking of which, how about you? Any updates on your love life?"
