Chapter Eighteen

*Carl*
"Peanut." I say, quietly. "What?" Maggie says. "Peanut. That's the baby's name until we find out if it's a boy or girl." "That's so cute!" Carol says. "Ok. We are all good. The baby is all good. Come back in a month and a half." "Ok. Thank you." Athena responded.
*Athena~hour later~*
"Athena!" Carl yells. "Carl!" I yell back. "Guess what!" He exclaims. "What?!" I scream back. "Hi!" He screeches. "Carl! You are right next to me. Why are we yelling? And hi." I say. "We were yelling because we are awesome. I know I'm next to you. I can do this." He kisses my cheek. "And do you want to hang out with Ron and Enid?" "Sure. Why not." I shrug. I put my leather vest back on. Carl stands up and grabs his hat. He reaches for my hand and holds it. I lean up like I'm going to kiss him and right as he flutters his eyes shut, I grab his hat. Once I get his hat, I put it on, let go of his hand, and I run out of the house. "Hey! Babe!" I hear him yell behind me. I take off down the street dodging people left and right. "Athena!" He calls out from behind me. Soon he gently tackles me to the ground. He hovering over me, one leg on either side of me. He swiftly takes his hat and places it on his head. I lean up and whisper. "So you got me,huh?" "Yes I did. I deserve a prize." He replies, happily.
He then leans down and places his lips on mine. I pull away and say. "I love you. Now get off me people are starting to stare." He gets off of me and says, "I love you too." We finally get to the house we are going to hang out with Ron and Enid at. "What took you so long?" Ron asked. "Didn't you see? They were outside making out on the sidewalk." Enid spat. "Actually that's not what happened. We were messing around. I don't know what your problem is but you need to calm down." I say, my 'redneck' starts showing. "What the hell? Why are you so rude?" She says. "B*tch, face it. I am a Dixon. Deal with it." "You're a Dixon but that thing inside of you is a Grimes." "What does my baby have anything to do with this?" "Enid you need to calm down." Carl says. "Yeah. Enid, calm down. What's your problem?" "Ugh." She says and backs up until she's leaning on Ron. "Ok. I'll get over this. Enid. I'm sorry for what ever I did to you. But watch out. I have people that are there for me. " "Anyways." Ron says awkwardly. "So........ Want to play a game?" Carl says. We all agree. "What game?" "Never have I ever!" I yell. "Ok." Enid says. "Ok so everyone know how to play?" "Yes." Soon everyone puts up ten fingers because I can't have alcohol at the moment. "Ok I'll start." Enid smirks, looking at me. "Never have I ever......."
