Isa grins, gazing at the resemblance his son's eyes hold; just like his, dark like the deepest pits of oceans, and while Ayan's are filled with innocence and kindness, his' have seen the thorns before the rose's petals.

"Let me convey to you a story then, a story of a man who was entitled 'Al-Ubayd' for his righteousness. The man who was appointed as the head of the tribe because of his sound judgment and skills. The man who was prioritized over the rightful heirs of the then Rayees to rule because of his wisdom and strength. The Man Who Saw The Devil and murdered an innocent human."
