Joxter can get overwhelmed quite easily especially when it has to do with a lot of responsibility.
Joxter fought many cops in his lifetimes and still never got arrested.
Joxter partly left due to being overwhelmed by all the cops on his tail and the herds of wild children and he felt like saying goodbye would only stop him.
The last straw was when 3 people tried to take Snufkin he killed 2 and severely wounded the third and can't help but blame himself for letting Snufkin get hurt.
