As Hide walked home, the rain poured down, soaking him to the skin. By the time he reached the door, he was shivering and desperate for warmth. He quickly changed and made his way to the bathroom, eager for a hot bath.
Just as he reached the door, Hinata appeared, a towel wrapped around her shoulders. "I was about to take a bath! You can’t go in first!" she exclaimed.
"I’m freezing! I need it more than you do!" Hide snapped, irritation bubbling to the surface.
Hinata stood her ground. "You can wait! I’ve had a long day too!"
Frustration clouded his judgment. “Just move!” he shouted, shoving her aside. In the chaos, Hinata lost her balance and fell, twisting her ankle as she hit the floor.
"Ow!" she cried out, pain flashing across her face.
Hide glanced down, a mix of anger and guilt flooding through him. “You’re so weak!” he exclaimed, his frustration blinding him to her hurt. He pushed past her and slammed the bathroom door shut.
As he turned on the hot water, the steam enveloped him, but guilt gnawed at his insides. He could still hear Hinata's muffled cries outside. After a long soak, he stepped out, feeling slightly better but still conflicted.
When he opened the door, he found Hinata sitting on the floor, her expression a mixture of pain and anger. “You didn’t have to be so rough,” she said, her voice shaky.
Hide’s heart softened slightly. “I didn’t mean to—”
“Save it,” she cut him off. “You never think about how your actions affect anyone else.”
He sighed, the weight of her words sinking in. “I’m sorry, okay? I shouldn’t have pushed you. I was just—”
“Selfish,” she finished for him. “Uhh I'm telling mom.”
After some time, Hide was sprawled on his bed, scrolling through his phone, trying to shake off the guilt from earlier. The sound of the front door opening caught his attention. Moments later, he heard Hinata's voice, sharp and urgent.
“Mom! Remember what I had told you over the phone about hide!”
Hide braced himself as their mom approached his room. Without knocking, she opened the door, a serious expression on her face.
“Hide, I heard from Hinata about what happened. You need to go to her room and give her a massage,” she said firmly.
“What? That’s unfair!” he protested, frustration bubbling up.
“Unfair or not, you need to take responsibility for what you did. Now go!” she insisted.
Reluctantly, Hide got up and trudged to Hinata’s room, feeling like he was walking to his own execution. He knocked lightly on her door.
“Come in,” Hinata called.
Entering, he found her sitting on the edge of her bed, her ankle propped up. She shot him a glare. “What do you want?”
“Mom sent me,” he admitted, his tone defensive. “I’m supposed to give you a massage.”
“Great. Just what I need,” she said, rolling her eyes.
“Look, I’m sorry about what happened,” he said, softening his tone. “Can we just get this over with?”
Hinata sighed but nodded. “Fine. Just be gentle, okay? It really hurts.”
As he sat beside her, he began to carefully massage her ankle, trying to be as gentle as possible. At first, there was tension in the air, but as he continued, Hinata’s expression shifted.
“Not so bad,” she murmured, a small smile breaking through her annoyance.
“Yeah, well, don’t expect me to make this a habit,” he replied, trying to keep the mood light.
Hinata chuckled softly. “You might want to, if it means we can avoid more fights.”
Hide felt a stroke seduction as he massaged her he thought to himself . “What the— why do I feel this way and towards my sister of all people this isn't right” Hide feeling a mix of both seduction and hatred for his sister, stood up to leave as he felt something holding him back.
