In this Idol Universe one shot, imagine Jennie and Tae are in their mid-30s and married with children. They sit down to reflect on a vacation in Tokyo with their family and loved ones. (Based heavily on the SNL sketch "Best Christmas Ever" and the YouTube video by John Crist "Every Parent at Disney")

"Okay, kids are finally asleep," Jennie Kim says, as she joins her husband on the sofa in the living area of their penthouse hotel suite.

The low lights create the perfect cozy setting, the calmness of the night a stark contrast to the hectic activity of the last few days. Outside the floor to ceiling windows, the couple catches a glimpse of Tokyo Disneyland, the main hub of their vacation with their two girls, their friends, and their families.

A relieved look washes over Kim Taehyung as she cuddles against his shoulder, his long arm engulfing her in his warmth. "Ah...okay," he sighs, placing a chaste kiss on her temple.

"What's left to do? Packing?" she asks as she affectionately scratches the inside of his arm resting on his stomach.

"Already done."

Her eyes go wide. "Oh my gosh! You are an angel." He gives her his signature boxy smile before she nuzzles closer to him. "So...did you have a good vacation?"

He pulls his head back to look lovingly down into his wife's tired, but content eyes. "Are you kidding me? This has been the best vacation ever."

"Really? Better than any 'Bon Voyage'?" He nods emphatically. "Better than our honeymoon?"

"Of course, that was the best for another reason," he teases, rubbing circles on the sleeve of her pajama top with his long finger. "I mean for a family vacation, it was the best. Baby, I had a smile on my face from the moment we got here."

Cut to a flashback of their two kids, Minji and Minseo ages 5 and 3, bursting into their parents' bedroom in the hotel suite on the morning of the first day of the vacation.

"Eomma!" the young girls squeal, immediately jumping on the bed.

A clearly disoriented Jennie rouses from her sleep, startled by the commotion, forcing her eyes open.

"Wake up! It's time to go to Disneyland!" Minji screams.

"Where's appa?" Minseo cries in her cute voice.

Tae pries his head from his pillow, puffy faced and holding his head in his hand, the loud voices pounding in his ears. Groaning when he sees the time on the clock is only 5:41am, he grimaces from the pain of an early wake-up call and mutters, "You've got to be frickin' kidding me."

"I think I was more excited than the kids," he chuckles, stretching the truth a bit.

"I know, I was the same way," she agrees, not wholeheartedly.

Cut to a flashback of Jennie shuffling through the kitchen, desperately trying to drink her cup of coffee while her two little girls hop around her feet, needing help to tie their shoes and put on their jackets. She's so tired there could be X's over her eyes from how dead she feels. Off in the corner, Tae's walking around like a zombie getting their backpacks ready for the big day.
