"Hey Ethan I have practice today so can you tell Bryce I need a ride." I asked standing with him at his locker.
"Yeah sure. I'll text you later, I have to go to class." He walks off and I go to the bathroom. I'm in the stall when I hear a group of girls come in.
"He's totally into you!" One of the girls said. "No he isn't. I think he's into that Jessica girl." Are they talking about me?... no they can't be. I thought to myself.
"The dance girl?" Another one of the girls said. "Yeah, the one that's always hanging out with his weird brother."
I get up and walk out of the bathroom. Omg they know about us was the only thing on my mind right now. I have to find Bryce.
I went to his class but he wasn't there so I checked under the outside bleachers. "Bryce! Why aren't you in class? I've been looking for you." I said walking up to him.
"Just didn't feel like going today." He replied, leaning against the railing of the bleachers. "What's up?" He asked.
"Sarah and her little friends were talking about us in the bathroom! They know!" I said raising my voice a little.
"Know what? We haven't done anything." He said. "We kissed Bryce!"
"She doesn't know that." He said and I calmed down a little. He was right, she didn't really know anything.
"Sorry for yelling I'm just so scared Ethan will find out. It's driving me crazy." I said looking down at my feet.
"Maybe it's best if we just stay friends for now. Nothing more." I continued.
"Oh okay." He said in a softer tone than before. I could hear the hurt in his voice even though he wouldn't show it.
I walked closer and grabbed his hand, giving it a gentle squeeze before walking back to class.
I was late so the teacher was pretty mad but I was too sad to care. I know me and Bryce have never really dated but that doesn't mean I don't care about him. Sure, he might be mean, selfish, and a bit of an ass sometimes but he's always been there for me.
Plus, I never meant for all of this to happen it just sort of did.
——— It was time for dance practice and I waited for Bryce at my locker but he never showed up. I guess I can't blame him, I did just basically dump him.
After I realized he wasn't coming I just walked instead. I was late so I was put on shower and water duty until next week. (A/N: she has to clean any dirty stuff out of the locker room/showers and get the team water. Also the dance studio they practice in isn't at the school that's why brace normally takes her.)
After practice I went straight home, took a shower, and went to sleep. When I woke up I had 2 missed calls from Ethan but I didn't bother calling him back since I would see him at school. When I got to school I saw that Ethan text me.
Ethan Meet me at the music room I have something to show you.

I went to the music room and saw Ethan with his guitar, singing. His voice was so beautiful, he was one of my favorite musicians, he's so talented. "Hey pretty girl, I got a new song to show you."
"Omg, you haven't showed me a new song in months!" I said smiling.
"Yeah, I know. I haven't had much time to write." He replied. "But I've been working on this for a couple of weeks and I hope you like it." He continued and started playing the song.
Ethan plays the song.
"Oh my gosh that was so good!" I said standing up and hugging him tightly.
"Thank you!" He said hugging me back. Not even a second later another boy walks into the room, it was Bryce. He had on a tight black shirt that showed his perfectly toned body. I thought I was gonna fall in the floor but I didn't. Instead, I said, "I'll see you guys later." and walked to class.
——— Me and Ethan were sitting in art class and we were talking about a party happening on Friday. (It's Wednesday) We weren't really the type to party but we are both getting older and think it's time for us to finally go.
"Pick me up at 8:00?" I asked getting up to pack my bag.
"Yeah sure, just text me when you're ready."
~time skip to Friday morning~
"Mom I'm going out tonight with Ethan. I'll be home late." I said walking into the kitchen. "Okay, text me when you get there and when you leave." She said kissing me on the forehead.
The school day goes by and I go back home, my mom is at work so I get ready for the party. It's 7:00pm and Ethan texts me.
Ethan Hey I'm on my way
Jessica Okay see you soon
I put my phone down and finish my makeup. Then I pick my outfit. A few minutes someone knocks on the door, it was Ethan.
