As the team emerged topside, the sun shining brightly overhead, Sticks paused for a moment, looking around at the bustling city. The atmosphere was charged with adrenaline as they prepared for their mission.

"Hey, guys," Sticks said suddenly, her brow furrowing in thought. "Couldn't you use the Chaos Emeralds to switch back to your own bodies?"

Sonic, Leo, Raph, Amy, and Mikey exchanged glances, a moment of realization dawning on them.

"We didn't think of that," Sonic admitted, scratching the back of his head in embarrassment.

Leo sighed, his expression a mix of frustration and amusement. "Honestly, it slipped my mind. We've been so focused on the mission, I didn't even consider using the Emeralds."

Mikey chimed in, "Yeah! We've got all this power at our fingertips, and we totally forgot to use it!"

Raph, crossing his arms, added, "Well, at least we can still take down Eggman and Shredder first. We can figure out the Emeralds afterward."

Sticks nodded enthusiastically. "Exactly! Once we deal with those two, we can grab the Emeralds and swap back. Just think of the chaos we could unleash as our real selves!"

"Right," Amy said, her eyes brightening at the idea. "Plus, I'd much rather wield my own powers than just rely on this hammer."

Sonic grinned, excitement bubbling up. "Let's focus on the mission for now. After we kick some bad guy butt, we'll get those Emeralds and fix everything."

With renewed motivation, the team adjusted their gear, each member feeling the weight of their temporary identities. They set their sights on their destination, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
