"Son, what happened?" A blonde vampire rushes forward, inspecting the cracks on Edward's neck, the young vampire wincing as fingers trace a particularly deep one.

The vampire's focus is solely on Edward, so William takes the time to observe him. It's easy to come to the conclusion that this was Carlisle, even without him addressing Edward as his son.

Carlisle looks to be a little bit older than Garrett in human years, but his vampire beauty brings a youth to him that he wouldn't have otherwise. The vampire's attire is quite preppy and basic in neutral tones, and his pale blonde hair is brushed into a very clean-cut style. He seems to be a bit taller than Edward, and has golden eyes just like his "son". William watches as Carlisle inhales, smelling the werewolves behind the younger vampire, and tensing in a defensive manner.

Carlisle's eyes meet William's, but quickly trail up towards Garrett, who is settled behind him, pressed against his back.

"Garrett?" Carlisle says slowly, watching the way Garrett's arm is secured around the werewolf, holding the man close.

"Carlisle," Garrett smirks, "It's been a while."

"Indeed it has," Carlisle warily inspects his friend's company...three werewolves, and Bella is standing next to them as if she's never been more comfortable. It has the blonde on edge as he clears his throat, "Would you like to come in?"

Garrett nods, dragging William into the house as if he owns the place. He looks around the modern space and whistles, "Nice place you got here, Carlisle. Are Rosalie and Emmett around?"

"They went out to hunt, but I'm sure will be back soon," the blonde addresses the werewolves, "Can I- can I get you anything?"

"We're fine," William says softly. This is so out of his element. He turns his head and sees James looking ready to combust, face twisted in either anger or repulsion. William guesses both. Though he does have to admit these other vampire's smell quite horrible, almost chemical and bleach-like. He's seriously glad Garrett smells appealing to him, or else it would be difficult to get close to one another.

"Nonsense," A female vampire enters the living area with a tray of what William can smell is lemonade, judging from the sweet, citrusy aroma that fills the room. She has a kind face that has William relaxing through his anxiety, "I saw you all outside, so I thought I'd prepare some drinks for you. I'm Esme."

"Thank you, dearest," Carlisle presses a kiss against Esme's cheek after she places the drinks on the table.

James eye's narrow at the glasses, attempting to look for anything out of the ordinary. He probably thinks it's poisonous or something, but Lizzie just rolls her eyes and grabs a glass, taking a long drink that has James huffing beside her.

"We haven't done proper introductions," Carlisle says, "I'm Carlisle Cullen, the leader of our coven. This is Esme, my mate," he motions towards the mahogany haired woman beside him, "and it seems you've met Edward already..." Carlisle glances worriedly at the cracks on Edward's neck and frowns.

"I'm James," the alpha has a scowl on his face that's anything but inviting, puffing out his chest and standing out straight in alpha dominance.

"And I'm Elizabeth," she pats James on the shoulder, "James is my husband...He doesn't like vampires much."

"That's an understatement," William mumbles under his breath, freezing when all eyes turn towards him. These vampires, perhaps other than Esme, make him uncomfortable. He definitely doesn't trust Edward to not attack again.

"This is William," Garrett introduces the werewolf, and William smiles softly at him gratefully.

Once again Carlisle observes the way Garrett has sat himself as close to the werewolf as possible, "I have to ask, why are you all here?"
