"olivia!" a voice from downstairs yells.

olivia hears her mother call for her, and she comes down the hall and into the kitchen where she finds her moM cooking.

"yeah?" she asks, leaning on the counter.

her mother turns to face her. "could you ride your bike up to star market and get me cream of mushroom soup, please?" her mom always is asking for her to run up and get food from star market, their local grocery store. olivia smiles and sighs.

"yeah. do you happen to have money..?" olivia asks jobless.

her mother sighs. "you're 17 years old. you need to get a job. go to my wallet, grab a ten," olivia nods, going into her mothers room grabbing her wallet. "bring me back change!" maria, olivia's mom, yells through the paper thin walls.

olivia grabs her bag, putting the ten into her wallet and slinging her purse over her shoulder walking outside to her bike.

he starts to bike up and down streets until she makes it to the parking lot. she sees the glowing green sign that reads 'star market'. she sets her bike on a wall and she goes inside to the canned food aisle.

she searches the different Campbell flavours, she finds it and starts to walk down the candy aisle. she sees a boy around her age stocking up the gummy clusters, the candy she wants. of course.

she reaches for a box, "excuse me, sorry." she says smiling at the boy. he nods, saying a simple your fine, or no worries and she starts to head to check out.
