A chilly wind hits them, his thought running wild while her turmoil runs deep..
He stood by her side, admire the view (her) before him.. Hugged her by shoulder, "Deep thought.. Care to share? I wonder what stole your attention.. When you're in your bridal chamber tonight." Her nervousness made him smile..
"Khushi if you don't want we can postpone.." Before he finish she come crashing to into his arms.. "Do you still love her?" Her question wiped that smile off his face.
He became silent, why is she ask this question? Doesn't she know the answer? She is his wife.. He already told her before... She is his future and he wants spend his life with her forever.. But now she is questioning him?
He pulled himself from the hug, a gave her annoyed look.
"If she were to return.. Who would you choose? Me or her?" She still asked him even after seeing his expression change...
He gave a sharp look, "Are you.. Doubting me?" He shrugged her hand off him.. Feeling frustrated, he loosen his tie. "What kind of a man do you take me for?! We.. Rathore family men live and die for one woman.. Fine.. You don't know of my lineage well... But you don't know me too?"
Khushi was stunned to see him getting angry, "You're not answering my question!"
He smile wryly, "I loved her Khushi.. LOVED! I thought she won't leave me but she did.. Now we have promised to be together.. How would I leave you for her? Am I that cheap? Tonight is the night we supposed to start our life.. But.. You.." He went back to their room and sat on decorated bed, burning in anger.
Khushi followed after him and sat bed his side. She took off the flower on her hair, took off her hairpins.. Her bangles.. Her necklace, only mangalsutra and sindoor is enough to make her glow.
She set then aside, while he glare at her.. She sighed, held his hand brought it to where her heart is. "You know.. How I don't have anyone else here.. Before starting our life, I would like to know.. Just like how you know me.. I also would like to know.. I fell once and suffered a lot.. A lot.. I don't want it to repeat again.. And I'm not willing to give you up.. Ever.. As long as you live.. You shall be only me. Khushi Raghuvendra Pratap Rathore."
He stare at her in silence, this what he likes the most about.... She never back down in argument with him. Whatever the argument is, she always fascinate him with her way coming back to him.
He looked away from her beautiful Hazel eyes, he can't even stay angry with her.. Khushi looked at him with a playful smile knowing how he tried his hard to keep mad at her but couldn't, that's why he is not facing her.
Khushi grabbed his face, jumped on his lap... Gave him no choice but to look at her. Their eyes are locked together.. "You're my healer.. You gave me a reason to trust a man again, to move on in my life.. I want you.. For rest of my life.. As mine.. Will you?" She asked him..
He wanted to be honest with her, "Khushi.. Call me selfish but this moment... All I want is you.. Just you to survive." He pressed his nose against hers. They both stayed like that for a bit.. Until he twist their position and pinned her under him on the bed.
Khushi's breathe quicken, she relished the warmth he is giving... But still..
He could see the helplessness and fear on her face. His eyes were filled with tenderness as he slowly reached out and held her face in his hands. Then, he kissed her tenderly and lovingly once again.
