A little hope

Day caressed Itt's hair until he fell asleep.

"Hello. Night? where are you? can you come with Gear and help me look after him. I've to run some errands." Day said to his little brother on phone call.

"yeah, ofcourse P'Day. We are coming asap." Night said and cut the call. "what?" Gear asked when he noticed that Night is looking at him with puppy eyes while they were driving back to home.

" It was P'Day on the call." Night said. "so what?" Gear said in harsh tone as till now Gear didn't approve of him being with Itt. "He called us there in hospital to look after Itt as he has to run some errands." Night said.
"He can't even look after him for a while and yapping all day that he's in love with him." Gear said. "so we're going or not?" Night asked. "ofcourse we're going. I have to look after my friend." Gear said and turn his car in another way around.

The moment they came Day left. "Gear ?" Night said. "Hmm" Gear replied. "Why don't you accept them as a couple? I can see that they are in love why can't you see the connection between them? Do you even understand love or not?" Night said in a calm tone but it was enough for Gear to realise that his actions made Night's heart worried.

He pulled Night into hug and said "It's not that I don't understand love. If I don't then how can we be a couple? It's just that for me it's hard to believe that Day likes Itt. Or even if Itt likes Day he've never ever been in a serious relationship. I don't know if he has ever experienced the feeling of love. He's just a spoiled kind-hearted soft and sensitive child. Even for us it's sometimes difficult to deal with him. His mom and dad are also worried for him every single day. How can a man like Day take care of him? It's just seem impossible for me." Gear said to Night not knowing that Day was at the door hearing their conversation as he had completed his work and came back asap to Itt.

"I know that P'Day is somewhat scary and cruel type person but look he's not like that to me. And I'm damn sure that he'll never hurt Itt. I can guarantee you that my brother will protect your friend at any cost and never ever leave him." Night said.

" Night, you're his brother but my friend is nothing to him. What if one day he gets tired or bored of Itt? Then what're we gonna do? What if Itt doesn't reciprocate the feelings? What if all things that we're thinking is just an assumption. My friend had never been in a serious relationship nor he had loved someone except from that one person. uhh..I mean he had never been serious about a relationship." Gear said.

"Gear, I underst- " Night was about to say something but Day entered.
"P'Day, did you complete your work?" Night asked. "yeah. and now you both can leave. Go and take rest." Day said to his brother. Both left.

Day went to Itt and sat near the bed holding Itt's hand and started caressing his hairs. By the sensation Itt woke up. "Ai' Day. what's the time? I think I slept for too long." Itt asked for the time.

"It's good to take rest. It'll help you to heal fast." Day said with a slight smile." Itt got a feeling that Day's upset. "what happened, P'Day? Is something worrying you??" although He doesn't remember Day but still he've a soft corner for Day and asked in a curiosity. Day was so lost in his thoughts that he almost didn't hear Itt. "Yeah, Itt? what did you say?" Day asked. " What's worrying you?" Itt asked again. "Nothing. you worry for yourself and get healed first." Day said but he was thinking about what Gear said a while ago. Not the thing that Day will get tired of Itt as he knows himself and was confident that he can take care of Itt his whole lifetime but he was thinking that what if Itt didn't reciprocate feelings for him. It seems like he's forcing his love on Itt.

"Day , did you call my parents and informed them about my situation? and do they know about us? " Itt asked. "Gear had told them you're staying with him and friends as he didn't wanted to worry your parents and as for us" Day took a pause. "As for us , they doesn't know by now. They only know that I'm your senior." Day replied. "okkayy. I understand that it'll be difficult for us to face them." Itt said. "Don't think about this for now. You take rest. " Day said while caressing his cheeks. And soon after Itt went to sleep.
