"A silient plea goes unheard, a soul takes flight,
Lost in the darkness of her mother's plight." -Sam(samwasneverhere)

Caroline,
You never accepted me. You wanted me to be the same. But you wouldn't even listen to me. No, you wouldn't even say my new name.

A name that I chose, so similar to the one you wanted. The name I was born with, the name with which I will forever be haunted

You wanted a daughter, a perfect little girl. But when I asked to be who I was, you got all aught up in a whirl.

My name is Sam, but to you it won't be. To you I'll always be  S[redacted]a, your "daughter" who, to your heart, lost the key.

You were my mother, my creator of  life. But now you're just a monster, someone who I will always look at with strife.

The person I loved, morphed into a killer, when all I wanted was someone to trust, someone to act as my pillar.

Please don't blame yourself, like you always do. Just know I'll be here watching, but don't waste your life while you rue.

It's time now to end this, a bittersweet goodbye.
Just know that I will watch you, from the moonlight in the sky.

  Your son,
     Sam.
