Charlotte and Taylor lay on Taylor's white rug on her bedroom floor flipping through the magazines Andrea picked up for them earlier that day.
"Omg! I need this dress Tay, Felix will love it!" Charlotte presses down heavily onto a page with a woman dressed in a baby blue pink dress.
"Don't just get something because Felix would like it Char, get it because you like it." Taylor advises, shaking her head.
"I know, I just really like him T and I'm scared he doesn't like me anymore." Charlotte frowns at her best friend who secretly feels slightly jealous.
"You're beautiful with or without a nice dress Charlotte and if Felix doesn't see that then it's his loss." Taylor looks softly into the brunette's eyes and tucks a strand of wavy hair behind her ear making Charlotte's tummy tingle.
"Girls, dinner's ready!" Andrea, Taylor's mom calls from downstairs.
Andrea has been like a second mother to Charlotte for as long as she's known her. Charlotte's parents divorced when she was 3, resulting in her dad moving away to his home country, America, and her being in her mum's care in a flat in London until she passed away suddenly when Charlotte was 6 meaning that her father had gained full custody of her and forced her to move to Pennsylvania to his house.
"Coming." Taylor calls back to her mom and the two girls stand up off the floor and make their way downstairs.

"Oh, hello Lottie." Scott, Taylor's dad smiles as he sees Charlotte at his dining table.
"Hi." Charlotte smiles back. She loves being at the Swift's, it feels like the family she never had.
Andrea walks in followed by Taylor's younger brother, both carrying dishes of food.
"Mm, this smells amazing Andrea!" Charlotte licks her lips and Taylor stares at her side profile from the seat next to her with a smile.
"You're too kind, we're gonna miss you sweetie." Andrea pats the top of Charlotte's head before sitting down in her chair.
"I know it's gonna be so different here without Teffy and Austin and you and Scott." Charlotte looks around the table, taking pictures in her mind.
"Just because we're moving away Char, doesn't mean we can't still be best friends. You'll always be my best friend!" Taylor strokes Charlotte's arm gently as she chews on her steak. Andrea notices the red flush on both girls pale cheeks and smiles to herself.

Once dinner was over, Taylor and Charlotte return back to Taylor's bedroom upstairs, most things are boxed up by her wall except for a few outfits and her bed, ready to be taken by the moving truck.
"Hey Teff?" Charlotte turns to face the blonde girl.
"Yes Charlie?" Taylor spins around to face her best friend.
"Will you promise me that you won't forget me T...when you move away and meet a new best friend." Charlotte's voice breaks.
"I pinky promise you Char that I will never ever ever forget you. You are my bestest friend in the world and nobody can ever replace that." Taylor pulls Charlotte in for a hug.
"I pinky promise to be your biggest fan forever even when the whole world knows your name.". Charlotte squeezes Taylor back harder.
"Well I pinky promise to look for you in every crowd I perform to until I meet you again." Taylor pulls back from the hug and places a kiss on Charlotte's forehead, "I love you Charlotte.".
"I love you Taylor." Charlotte places a kiss on her best friend's cheek making Taylor's cheeks blush and her stomach feel butterflies.
"I honestly wish you could just come with me to Nashville Char. I'm only me when I'm with you, I don't know how I'm gonna cope being so far away from you." Taylor's eyes let out some tears.
"You know I want that too Tay, but my dad. Even though he doesn't even take care of me, he's still my legal guardian and you know how strict he is, he won't even let me have a phone yet!" Charlotte frowns, wiping Taylor's tears with her thumbs, "Don't cry Taylor, this goodbye isn't forever. Here, have this." She hands Taylor a pink friendship bracelet with beads spelling 'C&T' and putting one on her own wrist.
"Now we can always be together forever!" Taylor gasps before embracing Charlotte into a big hug.
"I also got you a little something." Taylor says reaching under her bed and pulling out two photo frames with their initials and a heart and a picture of them from a few months back strawberry picking inside of it.
"I love it Taylor, thank you!" Charlotte takes it and runs her fingers along it, "I'll have this on display in every house I ever live in."
"Lottie, your dad's outside!" Andrea calls for Charlotte.
"Taylor lets go down so I can say goodbye to your family, you'll be gone by the time school ends tomorrow." Charlotte gulps as the realisation hits her that her best friend is moving away tomorrow.
"I'm so scared Charlotte." Taylor breaks down crying.
Charlotte instantly pulls the upset blonde into her arms and holds her tightly, "Taylor Alison Swift, you do not have to be scared of anything. I'm so so proud of you and your talent is going to change the world. I'm going to miss you like crazy but I know that you're doing what you love and thats music so I'm always gonna be back here supporting you even if you don't know it or forget about me. You are the best friend I could have ever asked for, you saved me Taylor but now it's time to say goodbye but it will not be forever. I love you Teffy."
Taylor's cheeks burn red, "I love you so much Char, I will never forget about you and thank you for being so supportive." Taylor places kiss after kiss on Charlotte's cheek before the pair head downstairs for Charlotte to say goodbye to the other Swift's.
