FOREVER IN CHAINS

Truth

Looking at his state her guts started shivering, she tried to control her fear but she failed to hide it from his eyes.

For a few seconds he just continued to stare at her in deadly silence only the sound of their breathing could be heard.
Then he took some long steps towards her while she tried to make some distance between them but failed as he grabbed her arm and pulled her closer to him.

"Why? " He asked her in a slow voice as if trying to control his anger in front of her.

"Wha-"

"Why did you go there? "
He completed his question.

She didn't replied and that makes him close his eyes for a few seconds only to open again and this time with a deadly emotion in his eyes.

"Don't test my patience nur, I hope you know what I am capable of, speak answer me. "
She heard his clear cut warning.

"I hear-d someone's voice coming from there, that-s why. "
She replied to him, not wanting him to doubt her.

"Truth. I want truth. "

"I am saying the truth-"

"Look in my eyes and answer me. "
He ordered her.

She immediately looked at him and spoke slowly,
"This is the truth I went there because I heard his voice and he asked me for a glass of water . "

"Then how did he ran away?. "
He asked while searching truth in her eyes.

"When I gave him water he asked me to open his hand to take water and I open his hand but he pushed me and ran away. "
She accept the truth.

"And you want me to believe this bullshit? "

" I am speaking the truth, it is upon you if you want to believe it or not. "
She tried her best to convince him in her lies.

" Fine. I had captured that man again and will spit out truth from his mouth and if I found a single line different than the story you made, you will face it's conceauences. "
He warned her and walked away.

While now she had made up her mind that she can't stay here anymore , he is just too cruel to called as human, he  was torturing an inocent life and he did not even looked a little bit guilty of his action.

In the basement-

" Don't please I will not do that again"
Than man pleaded to him who was holding a burning rod in his hand and was taking his steps towards him.

"You are a fool kabir, do you really thought that you will be able to escape from here? "
He said while holding that rod closer to that man's eyes.

While that man try to move his head back but he grabbed his hair tightly and forced his head closer to rod ,

" Don't please, I will tell you the truth, I fooled that woman that I am an innocent whom you have captured here and asked her to get me water but when she did I pushed her  and ran away . "
That man speak in one breath.

Zahir stopped his action hearing him while his thoughts direct towards nur,
Indeed she spoke the truth.

He left his hand and throw away rod in a corner,
" Beat him until my next order. "
He ordered his man and left from there ignoring that man's screames behind him.
