Chapter 3

Cleddyf.

Duncan landed with a thud on the ground. He clutched the sword in his hand as he quickly came to his senses and got up. The rift in space was closing in front of him. Duncan looked around and saw equipment from the lab scattered around the area, and noticed Tony Stark on the ground knocked out. Tony's Iron Man armor was lying in the dirt in an unnatural position like it crashed there. Duncan looked over and saw Twilight sitting on the ground clutching Flurry as she rocked back and forth to soothe the crying baby.

"Twilight!" Said Duncan.

Duncan ran over to them.

"Are you okay?! Is Flurry okay?!" Asked Duncan.

"We're fine. She's fine. She's just shaken up." Said Twilight.

Twilight looked at Duncan with a look of concern on her face.

"Duncan, where are we?" Asked Twilight.

Duncan looked around and saw trees and hills, and even a few mountains in the distance. However, something was telling him this wasn't Earth but rather a similar planet.

"I have no idea where we are. The portal was created by the Space Stone. We could be on the other side of the Universe right now for all we know." Said Duncan.

Twilight took a deep breath as she rubbed Flurry's back in an attempt to soothe her.

Tony Stark started to get up.

"What happened?" Asked Tony Stark.

Duncan looked at Tony with frustration.

"Thanks to you poking the Space Stone, we ended up who knows where." Said Duncan.

Tony Stark looked at Duncan.

"Okay, for the record, not my intention." Said Tony Stark.

Tony looked around the area.

"Can't you use the sword to get us back to Earth?" Said Tony Stark.

"I only ever opened one portal with this sword, and that was just reopening a portal that already existed from a different method. I have no idea how to open a portal back." Said Duncan.

"Fine, no matter. Friday, where are we?" Said Tony Stark.

He held his earpiece and waited.

"Friday?" Asked Tony Stark.

"Not getting a response?" Asked Duncan.

"We can't be in a dead zone. Friday uses Stark Industries satellites. Unless..." Said Tony Stark.

Tony looked around for a moment.

"Yeah, I don't think we're on Earth anymore." Said Duncan.

"Well, the first thing we need to do is figure out which planet we are on, and how far it is from Earth. We might still be within Plumber space." Said Twilight.

Twilight stood up with Flurry in her arms. Flurry had calmed down and was gazing around now.

"Well, if we can find civilization then that's a good start. This planet clearly supports life, so there is a chance that life could be intelligent." Said Duncan.

"Perhaps I can get a bird's eye view." Said Tony Stark.

"I think we've had enough of your help." Said Duncan.

"You're the one who came to me!" Said Tony Stark.

"Because you requested!" Said Duncan.

"Enough, both of you!" Said Twilight.
