3rd POV

Rhea opened her eyes from a long cat nap, finding herself in an unfamiliar area. The cat looked around, The seats that lined the iron walls were covered in dust, the only exception being the seat she slept on, having left an imprint on.

The rays of the setting sun flooded the dark train inside through the large windows, causing an unsettling feeling to run through the cat's body. Rhea wearily made her way through the train cart, her nose scrunching up in distaste for the scent of rust and gasoline. The only sound was Rhea's footsteps against the cold metal floor of the train. She consistently kept looking behind her, her tail flicking nervously.

As the feline continued forward within the silent train she started to smell the odd scent of an animal shelter...Cautiously, the cat continued when the metal ground beneath the cat started to feel cold. Rhea looked behind them to find faint ghostly paw prints in their trail.

The phenomenon seemed harmless enough, though it sent a bit of unease through the cat's spine. Slowly, Rhea lowered their nose to the floor and took a small sniff of one of the few paw prints it seemingly left behind.

Rhea retreated her head immediately, the smell of rotting from the prints was so horrid it felt like Rhea's sense of smell was revoked for only a couple of minutes. She tried to back up a bit, forgetting that the print trail was made by her own feet. She hops onto one of the dusty leather seats of the train, her claws digging slightly into the leather.
