18:23pm

As soon as she stumbled through the doors of the Sheffield Mansion, Fatigue settling deep into her bones after an exhilaratiing day of travel and an even more exhausting celebratroy dinner with her family and friends. she barely had time to acknowledge her surroundings as she headed straight upstairs to her room, feeling the comforting pull of her bed like a siren's call.

"Get some rest, sweetheart, you've deserved it." Lyra said, as she kissed Cruz's cheek. "Your Uncle and I are going to be with Helen in the study as we need to speak and sought through everything for after You Sign your Contract on Thursday, so if you wake up and need anything, you know where to find us."

Cruz offered her a tired smile as she continued up the stairs to the familar sight of her bedroom door. "Night, sis!" Victor shouted from the living room, a mischievous glint in his eyes at the sound of Cruz's Bedroom door closing, its been nearly two days since Sunday's Race and he was still in high spirits. Once in Her room, Cruz had barely managed to kick off her shoes, change into her pyjamas before collapsing onto her bed, the Florida 500 trophy on her desk, she fell asleep almost immediately, a contented sigh escaping her lips.

But back downstairs in the Living room, Victor was scheming. scheming a plan.

His plan: Post a Picture of Cruz with the Trophy next to her while she slept onto her Instagram.

but he'd have to wait awhile.

Meanwhile, in the Study, the adults were deep in coversation. Arlo and Lyra sat with Helen, discussing the whirlwind changes that lay ahead for Cruz after she signs on Thursday. "Cruz's Life is about to change dramactically," Arlo said, his voice steady but tinged with excitement. "From a Trainer for Rusteze's to the new face of Dinoco? It's incredible."

Lyra nodded, her expression serious. "We need to make sure she's ready for it. How do we keep her grounded with all this new attention?"

"My suggestion is that You keep her out of the media spotlight until Thursday, but after she signs, the media will do everything to hunt her down as she'll be the Second women in racing History to be racing in the Piston Cup, so she'll have to really disguise herself in public & i'm also suggesting that someone is with her so that she doesn't get uncomfortable." Helen then Pulled out the race schedule for this Season. "Here's what we have for the Remaining 37 Races fo this Season, as you can see there are many one to two week breaks, so these's breaks will get her the downtime and recovery time she needs."

"What about the Hauler?" Arlo asked leaning closer as Lyra looked at the Race schedule. "Is it ready for her?"

Helen shook her head. "The Custom Semi-Hauler won't be ready until next season, But McQueen's hauler will be redesigned for her this season. And there's the RV Motorhome that's arriving tomorrow for her. it's going to be a big transition, but i think she'll handle it well."

Lyra furrowed her brow. "What about McQueen? Has he told her that he'll be her crew chief this season?"

"No," Helen replied, her tone firm. "He wants to surprize her on Thursday with the News. It's best we keep it underwraps for now."

Meanwhile, back upstairs, Cruz Slept soundly, Blissfully unaware that Victor has entered her Room, tiptoeing over to the bedside table, Picking up her phone, then tiptoes over to her desk to grab the trophy then places it right next to her, then takes the picture, and Posts it on her Instagram with the caption.

"Even winners need their beauty sleep." #Florida500Champion #SleepingBeauty.

The post went viral in seconds as Victor left the Room to let his sister sleep peacefully as Grace texted him on his phone.
