About two weeks have passed and surprisingly there was not a whole lot of supernatural drama. Derek was still searching for the alpha, who has been making appearances but very few killings. The drama is nothing that Scott, Stiles, or Liana had gotten dragged into, surprisingly. Scott told Liana and Stiles about being bit by the alpha and not Derek and Liana had a lot of fun telling them 'I told you so'. They were still being idiots most of the time and not listening to her, mainly because of Scott's selfishness, so she hung out with Isaac more often than the two of them.
Speaking of Isaac, he now knows about werewolves and witches. Liana told him about her and got permission from Derek to tell him about werewolves. Surprisingly, Isaac didn't freak out. He actually thought it was awesome that Liana was a witch and Derek was a werewolf. Sure he was worried about the alpha and everything, but he wasn't scared of his friends. Isaac sees Derek as his friend now and he isn't as intimidated by Derek as much as he used to be. He looks up to him now...kind of like an older brother. He's come out of his shell a lot...but there is still something going on behind the scenes that Liana is trying to figure out. She is pretty sure he's getting knocked around by his dad, but she hasn't gotten proof and Isaac shuts down whenever his dad is brought up in conversation.
Liana woke up that morning for school with a bad feeling. She didn't know what it was, but she was worried. Something was wrong and she knew it. She quickly got dressed, grabbed an apple, and walked outside with Stiles to his Jeep.

While in the car, she sent a text to Derek.
Hey, babe. Are you okay? - L
When she got to school, she immediately found Isaac by his locker.
"Hey. You okay?" She asks him
"Yeah. I'm fine." He says confused. "Why?"
"I have a bad feeling."
"Well, I'm okay. Who else have you tried?"
"Stiles is fine and so is Uncle Noah. I texted Derek, but he hasn't responded."
"He is busy trying to find the alpha. Don't freak out. We'll figure out what's going on." Isaac says as he shuts his locker.
"I just hope he's okay. I can't lose anyone else I care about." Liana says. Isaac throws his arm around her shoulders and they start walking towards class.
"I'm sure he will be fine. Doesn't your mate bond make it so you know if the other is in danger? Can't you guys feel what the other feels if the emotions are intense enough?"
"That's when it's completed. We have a mate bond, but we haven't solidified it yet. So right now we feel drawn to each other and feel sparks whenever we touch."
"How do you complete it?" Isaac asks and Liana gives him a look. "Oh. Forget I asked."
