Los Angeles, California:

Christopher sighed sitting back in his seat the moment his executive assistant busted through his office doors, "You're late. You're never late, this better be good." He'd picked up his short glass half filled with whiskey.

"I have no excuse, when your sister comes knocking on your door at 2 in the morning saying she was put out because of some stupid selfies and hairy legs and she needs somewhere to stay." She replied.

"Your sister knew the rules when she signed the contract." He sipped his whiskey, "Besides, my personal life is none of your concern."

"Christopher I keep your entire life together. I make sure everything is done precisely, and you know this place would fall apart without me. You would be ruined. I did not introduce you to my sister for this purpose, that was supposed to be business and now you've broken her."

"Marley I'm not going to say it again, my personal life is none of your business. Get me my appointments for today, I-"

"No." She replied, and his dark chuckle scared her.

"No?" He asked.

"I quit, I am done with this shit."

"Fine."

"You think it'll be easy to replace me?"

"You made this decision not me, please leave your badge with security. Don't worry about your office, I bought everything in it I think I'll keep it."

"You suck dude." She scoffed, "Don't forget your doctors appointment in 2 hours, maybe this check up Dr. Beale can see what the fuck is wrong with you." She'd let herself out of his office.

"Whatever bitch." He grumbled, he'd reached over dialing security's extension.

"Yes sir Mr. Brown?" Jordan, his head of security answered right away.

"Please cut off any access Marley has to the building, as well as corporate cards, cars, and benefits. Also, I need a new Executive assistant." He spoke before he gulped more of his whiskey.

"Yes sir I'm on it."

"Jordan?" He said after clearing his throat.

"Yes sir?"

"If I don't have interviews here for my new executive assistant within the next 48 hours you're fired." He said before he'd hung the phone up. He'd sat his glass down on a coaster he positioned the glass in the center of the coaster. He got up slowly, it was 8 in the morning and he was on his second glass of whiskey.

He walked over to his personal elevator, and once he placed his hand over the panel the elevator doors automatically opened. He stepped onto the elevator, and once the doors closed, he pressed the 'L' button and when the doors closed the elevator went down to the lobby. He'd stepped out of the elevator to witness Marley being dragged out of the building by security, she was kicking and screaming. He'd smiled and waved at her as they'd dragged her past him.
