Apparently, a primordial is pregnant with me.

As I said.

I woke up in the void.

Now, you may be thinking: Percy, how did that happen?

My answer? No clue.

So here I was, floating in an endless space of pure nothingness. Pretty unsettling.

After a bit, I learned how to move, remembering how Leo described how he moved when he and Hazel went into the latter's memories.

Lean in the direction you want to go, and hope you get taken there.

My body felt fuzzy and wool-like, which is a feeling I did not welcome after the whole Akhlys ordeal.

Looking down, my hands were filtering in and out of existence, appearing translucent and wavering.

Perfect.

I was starting to get bored.

Would anyone know if I belted Beyonce in the void?

The primordial themselves might.

Hmm.

I'm not going to risk it.

"Humming it is, then..." I muttered, and immediately regretted it.

I felt like the darkness - if it could even be called that - was consuming me.

Spilling in through my mouth, ears, nose, pores-

Screaming made it worse.

"VOID!"

A very slighter darker - if that's possible - humanoid outline appeared infront of me, holding a shadowy hand out.

"My apologies, mortal. I forgot how harmful my domain is to demigods... Breathe in, I have removed the suffocating effects."

I took in a shuddering breath, accepting the large hand and gripping it tightly to ground myself.

Breathe.

Slowly, my respiratory system decided to work again, and the strange ether dissipated from my body.

Great.

"Uh.. thanks. You're Void, right?"

"Careful, Perseus Jackson. Names hold power, as I'm sure you are aware."

"Yep, right, sorry. Mind telling me why I'm in your.. body?"

His face contorted into what I assumed was disgust.

I gasped. "Are you pregnant with me?!"

The primordial face palmed.

"Well?! Who's the father? Or.. other parent? What's the date in earth time? What part of your body am I in?"

He sighed.

"Oh my gods, am I in your di-"

"No! Chaos, no. If you must know, you're in my forearm."

"Oh, right. Thank Annabeth."

He raised an eyebrow.

"Annabeth, my friend. Ex. Same thing. She's very scary, hence why I thank her."

"Right..."

"So, wanna chat?"

He looked dumfounded. "Did you just ask a primordial to chat?"

"Well, yeah... No offense, but there's nothing to do here. It's boring."

"Well, I am the void..."

"What an astute observation."

"Astute?"

"I learnt that word yesterday. Nico taught me it, then got mad when I said it was an old person word. He is old though, he was born in the 1920's or something!"

Void blinked. "That's..."

"Completely valid! I know!"

And that's how I ended up talking to one of the most powerful beings in the universe for hours, if not days, on end.

You don't need to sleep or eat in the void.

Which is helpful for lengthy conversations where I do all the talking.

Short but introductory. Candybeaveres28 - here's the first chapter! Is this alright?

Unedited.
