The odd one out(Dystopian fiction.)

Rule breaker

Just a day ago, Topher, Rex, and me, Maxley, were eating chocolate ice cream that's the only ice cream the tens are allowed to eat, and the eleven are only allowed to eat strawberry, but that's not important at least I don't think it was.

"Hey guys, that eleven is taking chocolate ice cream." Rex says with his weird, raspy voice. "How do you know he's an eleven?" I asked out to him with my voice, always being the loudest out of everyone's. I'm loud. "Because I've seen him around before, I'm telling you that kids no good, he's all trouble..." He says almost as if he's afraid of the eleven. "I'll go ask him, I'll see if he's rule breaking." I say while sitting up from my seat, I go to wal over to the Eleven and tap him on the shoulder. "Hi there, are you breaking rule number 27 in the eleven handbook?" I said to the what I think is an Eleven. "Keep your mouth shut, kid." The eleven says while whisper yelling.

"So you are? Teacher, teacher, he's rule breaking!" I yelp out to the teacher, hoping she'll notice me. To no surprise,  she did notice. "What is the commotion here?" She asks. "He's eating chocolate ice cream as an eleven, which is rule breaking. He'll have to get detention." I say before sitting down back at my spot.

"See, guys, not so bad." I say. "Anyways, let's head back to the neighborhood." I say finishing my sentence quickly. "Alrighty, then I guess, what game fo you wanna play on the way to the neighborhood." Topher utters out, he was always the shy kid, like I was when I first got my number from the assignee I think that's why me and him became friends well besides the acid incident and for Rex he's just cool, suddenly after drifting out of my thoughts a get lifted up into the air high and fall onto the grass, I look up and see the eleven from earlier. "I'm gonna make you pay, Maxley. P. Auguste." He says before. Suddenly, the eleven grabs my arm and pulls it and twist it into the opposite direction until...POP... it twist all the way." Ahh! My arm!" I yelp out in pain while Rex pushes the eleven off me. The next door neighbors come outside. "Someone call an ambulance and the police!" Mr. Tory says.

Suddenly I wake up in a hospital bed and I look around at my surroundings and I see Rex, and 'Dad' and 'Mom' and Topher sitting on a chair in the corner."Wha- What happened?" I mutter out before looking at Mt arm to see I cast on it. "Nevermind don't tell me." I say before eventually falling back to sleep.
